Training for next season is underway. An early milestone moment happened today, with 2024’s Enid section - Reds 1-5 and the front half of the team’s formation - flying together for the first time. #RedArrows

Last Friday, a crew member’s flight helmet was stolen.
The crew had landed in the Manchester area and got out of the helicopter to make their way to a patient when a group of youths on bikes road past and took the helmet.

So I’m allowed to take the chain off to drive (and fly), and possibly sleep!
If nothing else, I hope this gets people thinking and talking about mental health - don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it.

This week, Chris and I are chained to medicine balls in support of @CombatStress - raising awareness and funds. So many people suffer with mental health problems; carrying a medicine ball signifies living with those problems - please donate at events.soldierscharity.org/f…

Pleased to report that all went well with the Blackpool Air Show this weekend, and whilst thousands came and enjoyed the two days, all stayed safe and there were no calls for service for the volunteer crews on station. The lifeboats were prepared and ready for immediate launch
