A load of work went into this and its only going to get better. Crazy whats it become 1 year on from last year.
We are currently working on getting Scottish Premiership, Ligue 1, La Liga and Bundesliga by the end of the year. Give it a go and any feedback is appreciated.

The pressure is on but our final ball has been dreadful. Could play for another 90 mins here and I donāt think we score
Why is this news š
šØManchester City are the ONLY Premier League team who DO NOT publish cash flow in their accounts.
City Football Group (their parent company) being registered in the UK means Man City are EXEMPT⦠they submit a group figure instead.
This makes it difficult to tell where Man City ends and CFG begins.

Can someone at @TheAthletic @TheAthleticFC please explain/justify why they are in bed with and promoting the tobacco industry? Tobacco and athleticism donāt go together, itās a killer product.

Since 2005 Premier League clubs have had a total interest cost on borrowings and financial debt of £3.5bn.
One club and one set of owners is responsible for 35% of the total.

Manchester United v Bournemouth
One club had more:
Revenue
Wages
EBITDA profit
Amortisation
Player purchases
Player sales
Expensive squad
ā¦and lost 3-0 to a team that played on Thursday night.
We say in management school that culture trumps strategy.
If your culture is everyone buying into the same ideas and working together then that always has a good chance to punch above your weight against an ownership that rules by bullying and bigotry.
Well done AFCB

So far this result is basically the keepers performance on each end. Suzuki has been absolutely brilliant, Donnarumma not so much called upon twice and both times conceded.
Oreilly on for Guehi and Bouaddi on for Cherki would be the right moves. Weāve been good though the last 20 mins

A reminder: the 'independent panel' decides sanctions, and it is anonymous. Journalists are highly unlikely to have access to them. Similarly, at this stage, it would be utterly remarkable if Richard Masters or Alison Brittain were talking to a tabloid journalist about sanctions they want or expect. Current leaks come only from rival clubs.
Oh, and the fella who 'broke' Pep leaving got his story from someone who worked at Puma. Hardly the scoop of the century, a few days before the official announcement.
Man Utd have picked up just 7 points from a possible 21 to start the 2026/27 season, but their struggles are nothing new.
Since Sir Alex Ferguson retired, Manchester United have been one of the Premier Leagueās worst-performing clubs relative to the money invested in their squad.
Valuball Cost vs Performance analysis ranks United 34th out of 35 clubs since 2013/14.
Only QPR rank worse, and they spent just ONE season in the Premier League during that period.
Liverpool are included for comparison, sitting at the complete opposite end of the spectrum!

Thereās a difference between spending money big and spending money well.
Since SAF retired and David Gill left Manchester United the club has hugely underperformed as per this @valuball data.
Business success is due to three factors. Resources (United have biggest stadium, fan base etc), Opportunities (Premier League is most lucrative in the world) and Quality of Senior Management Decision Making (Glazernomics & INEOS).

Was Martinez right to have a pop at the suits at Old Trafford last night?
Since the arrival of INEOS we now have a club that:
ā½ļøRinses the fans for more money
ā½ļøReduced average first team weekly wage by Ā£50k
ā½ļøSacked the tea ladies
ā½ļøMade a loss every year
ā½ļøSpent over Ā£1bn on players
ā½ļøIncreased the club debts
The media reaction and other fan reactions are a bit bewildering. What do you want the current players and manager to do? Lie dead until the sanctions/appeal hit? Iāve seen people calling out player celebrations after scoring goals. Do people realize how crazy that sounds!
Itās still football and 11 v 11. People are making it out like City are being allowed to play while their players are using performance-enhanced drugs. The whole process has not played out yet.
As for fans what do you want them to do as well? Theyāre still going to go to games and support the club and players - none of this is in our control.
This helped my own understanding and deal with this "what if" scenario where City ARE relegated and receive a large fine.
Ive seen many posts saying we'd lose our entire squad etc but this is an actual breakdown of the numbers, the EFL rules and the PL rules if City were to come right back up following an end of season relegation.
Personally I believe most of it will come down to
"Which players will want to stay" - rather than "Could we afford to keep this player" as the simulator below shows City could keep most of the first team as long as they come straight back up following a relegation. There will be a lot of players who simply will not want to do a season in the championship.
Their will be a few years of complications with UEFAs rules if we do go into Europe in say ~2030 due to their own sustainability rules.
This doenst factor in punishments such as transfer ban, or multi year punishments or expulsion. All 3 scenarios would cause a whole set of different issues that are much harder to model. But the most spoke about potential sanction is a large enough point deduction this season to send City down this helps understand the situation.
If City went down what would it mean from a squad perspective?
Could they keep their current squad? Would they comply with the new EFL rules? Could they keep their entire team as is? Could City loan out Haaland for a season and keep him?
Another deep dive analysis helping us understand this potential scenario from the numbers side.

Many of the numbers and assumptions in this article are incorrect
Manchester City face an existential crisis if they drop out of the Premier League ā starting with covering the huge costs of their playing squad espn.co.uk/football/story/_/ā¦
This is not true. City will have to significantly reduce their wage bill, amortization and transfer debt to be able to stick to the rules of the EFL. Ownership is capped at £16m as well. A relegation is not extinction but it is a disaster and will significantly change the team .
The entire team and operational side is built to compete at the top and play in Europe. The model simply doesnāt work in the championship. Relegation will see big redundancies for the operating staff and change of players and player staff to be āsustainableā
šØ Luckily for Manchester city, they are prepaid for the worst. They already knew the premier charges were coming.
They made sure they renewed their players contracts + sold off players with short and middle term contracts + locked down Haaland with a 10 years contract.
They did this in a way that even though they got a 3-4 year transfer ban, they can still hold onto their players.
