你怎么看川普？你怎么管边境？你怎么面对那些投给共和党的保守派选民？
在德州，民主党整整三十二年没有赢过任何全州范围的大选。
面对保守派媒体的镜头，通常的策略要么是回避矛盾，要么针锋相对地吵起来。
塔拉里科完全没接这个套路。
他坐在演播室里，语气很平稳。
谈到边境，他说边境必须建立秩序，特朗普政府在加强执法管控上的确拿出了行动；
谈到经济，他说普通工薪家庭付不起房租、买不起救命药，根源是大型制药商把药价抬得太高、地产投资机构推高了住房成本。
只要政策能降低工薪阶层的生活负担，他就愿意合作；谁要是在关键民生问题上给特殊利益豁免，他就坚决反对。
整场访谈下来，没有空洞的党派口号。
演播室的主播也从最初的进攻姿态，逐渐转为认真听他拆解诉求。
这个三十多岁的年轻人到底有什么来头？
他出身普通家庭。
婴儿时期，母亲带着他逃离家庭暴力，投奔在德州南部当乡村牧师的外祖父。
他从小在德州朗德罗克长大，后来考入德州大学奥斯汀分校，又拿到了哈佛大学的教育政策硕士学位。
拿到常春藤学位后，他既没去华尔街，也没去政策智库。
他跑去圣安东尼奥西区的杰里迈亚·罗兹公立初中，当了一名六年级英语老师。
那是全德州最贫困的街区之一。
一个教室挤着四十多个学生，空调经常坏，课本缺页少码。
他发现很多孩子作业写不完，根源往往在校外：父母每天打两份工，家里有人生病连买药的钱都凑不齐。
真正让他下决心走入政坛的，是一场突如其来的急病。
2018年，二十九岁的塔拉里科决定竞选德州州众议员。
为了拜访选民，他在德州的酷暑里徒步走了整整二十五英里。
走到终点时，整个人脱水昏迷，被急救车送进急诊室抢救。
医生确诊：一型糖尿病，酮症酸中毒。
人抢救过来了，但当他拿着医保卡去药房拿第一个月的胰岛素时，收银台打出了一张账单。
扣除报销后，自费金额依然高达六百八十四美元。
六百八十四美元，相当于很多人半个月的房租。
他站在柜台前愣住了：自己有哈佛学历、有全职工作和医疗保险，买救命药都感到沉重。
换成他班上那些学生的父母，很可能就得在买药和交房租之间二选一。
当选州众议员后，他没有停留在抗议层面。
在共和党占据多数的德州议会里，他联合保守派议员起草并推动了第827号参议院法案。
法案最终签字生效：
德州受管辖的商业医疗保险，对胰岛素自付费用设立硬性上限，每月最高二十五美元。
从六百八十四美元，降到了二十五美元。
后来德州参议院提出第1515号法案，要求在每间公立教室张贴十诫。
塔拉里科正在奥斯汀长老会神学院攻读神学硕士。
他在听证会上拿出圣经，向提出法案的议员提问：
全州公立学校要挂的，到底是天主教版本、新教版本，还是犹太教版本？
让世俗权力去强行裁定宗教信仰，在圣经教义里实际上是在树立偶像。
这段听证会发言在网络上获得了上千万次播放。
很多保守派选民由此注意到，这个年轻人不仅熟悉圣经，而且经历过真实的生计困境，能听懂普通家庭的难处。
到了2026年联邦参议员决选。
面对在德州深耕多年、获得特朗普背书的前总检察长肯·帕克斯顿，塔拉里科拒收企业政治行动委员会的献金。
他把竞选焦点集中在最现实的民生账本上：
降低处方药价格、遏制住房成本上涨、保障公立学校投入。
最终的计票结果，让三十多年未被翻动的红州版图出现了历史性松动。
很多选民平时可能持有不同的政治倾向。
但当一个人真正经历过生活重压，能把药费、房租和日常开销一条一条算清楚时，能解决现实问题的能力往往比党派立场更有说服力。

I have met Meghan Sussex. I met her this year, at an event we were both at. She is not at all like the media, and her haters, portray her to be. They have spent years dehumanising her, and creating a whole caricature of a person that doesn't exist.
There were many people at the event we were at. Meghan asked her staff (we found out via organisers later) to ensure she had time to meet us all personally, one on one.
She asked each of us our names and we all had the time to have a conversation with her, about anything we chose to discuss.
My teenage daughter had drawn a picture of Guy, so we discussed my daughter, my family. I also told her of the wonderful support that she had from people of all walks of life. She had greeted me with a warm hug but after our discussion, as I went to walk away, she grabbed my hand and gave it a squeeze.
She was at the event to do a Q&A. We were all able to submit a question for her to answer. The questions varied from her business plans, to her kids, to Harry, friendships, the media, how she copes with the constant criticism and hate.
She answered all questions.
We learnt a lot about Archie and Lili that I haven't seen in the public sphere so wont repeat. We learnt just how strong her marriage is. They are still smitten ( Harry was also present although he didnt speak. He was there to support Meghan)
She spoke on how she deals with the constant hate and criticism. On how sad she is that the media has turned her into a caricature that isn't her at all. A caricature that isn't a version of her that any who know her recognise. She expressed sadness that people who don't know her believe this is who she is, but has resigned herself to the fact that people will believe what they choose to believe and there is nothing that she can do to change it. So she is determined to stay true to herself and live her life as authentically as she can.
I, as a RN/midwife and former mental health nurse, am a pretty good judge of character. We are trained to look for signs and red flags. There was nothing fake about Meghan. She was warm. Genuinely warm. She was extremely funny, something that I didnt know about her before. She glowed, literally. She had an aura about her that made it easy to see why so many in her real life are drawn to her, and perhaps why so many feel threatened, and she is extremely intelligent.
She didn't speak on the royal family at all. I'm certain those in the room wouldn't have asked her to.
There were people in attendance that were not Meghan supporters. I spoke to a few who went just to hear what she had to say. All came away extremely impressed.
So, they can blame her, hate her, judge her but, I know how she made me feel and how she treated me. So I will always support her, and defend her unapologetically.
I am so glad that my favourite Prince found her.

中国今天的繁荣和经济成就，恰恰就是因为邓小平推翻了毛泽东所代表的那一套政治和经济治理模式。

承认毛泽东是个独裁者，并不是在否定中国。恰恰相反，那是在承认，今天的中国，是从推翻他的那一套开始的。
英国有过克伦威尔，法国有过拿破仑，意大利有过墨索里尼，那又如何呢？
承认历史，面对自己过去的愚昧，才会让今天的成就显得更加有意义。

Thank you, Emmanuel, for your condolences. Unfortunately, the death toll from the Russian strike on a commuter train in Dnipro has already risen to 14. And just a few hours ago, the Russians struck a residential neighborhood in Chernihiv with a drone and killed two girls. They were only 15 years old. In Kremenchuk, a Russian “shahed” struck an apartment building. Tragically, three people were killed. My condolences to all those who lost their loved ones. In these three attacks alone, 56 people have been reported injured, including 10 children.
These are deliberate strikes against civilians, brazen in their cruelty, and the Russians are carrying them out right as the humanitarian operation in Oleshky is unfolding. Russia’s signals are clear – they want the war to continue, and everyone around the world must still work very hard to achieve major de-escalation through strong steps and appropriate pressure on the aggressor.
Peace is needed – and for that to happen, Russia must end its war and terror.
