BMC MARD strongly opposes the commencement of the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) registration process for CCMP-qualified BHMS practitioners.
BMC MARD strongly opposes the proposal to grant MMC registration to CCMP-qualified BHMS practitioners.
If concerns remain unaddressed, BMC MARD, along with other medical organizations, will be compelled to take stronger lawful and democratic steps to safeguard patient safety .
Representation of BMC MARD to Hon'ble Prime Minister @narendramodi ji seeking transparent and secure NEET-UG & NEET-PG examinations, early establishment of a fast-track investigation mechanism, and meaningful dialogue with students.

Pleased to interact with the doctors’ panel regarding the IMA Maharashtra MMC Elections 2026 at Bandra Hindu Association, Linking Road, Bandra West. Also met a delegation of Mumbai MARD office-bearers led by Dr. Chinmay Kelkar, Dr. Amar Agme and Dr. Ravi Sapkal.
Urged the medical fraternity to extend full support to the official IMA panel led by Dr. Rajeev Agrawal, contesting from the Mumbai–Konkan region, and ensure a decisive mandate in the elections scheduled on 26 April 2026 at Mumbai Public School, Santacruz East, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Further, directed the BMC Commissioner to take immediate action on key demands raised by MARD representatives, including deployment of security at Cooper Hospital and provision of a dedicated 24x7 canteen facility for doctors on round-the-clock duty.

MARD प्रतिनिधींनी मांडलेल्या प्रलंबित मागण्यांबाबत—कूपर रुग्णालयात महाराष्ट्र सुरक्षा दल (MSF) तैनाती तसेच 24x7 डॉक्टरांसाठी स्वतंत्र कॅन्टीन सुविधा—या संदर्भात बृहन्मुंबई महानगरपालिकेच्या आयुक्तांना तात्काळ कार्यवाही करण्याच्या सूचना दिल्या.

NEET PG 2025 counselling is postponed till further notice by MCC because of addition and removal of seats by NMC and NBEMS after starting of choice filling!
This is gross mismanagement between three bodies of Health Ministry : NMC, NBEMS & MCC.
Even after 3 months of results, seat matrix isn't decided yet. Thousands of aspirants are sitting unemployed and wasting their important months. Thousands of Resident Doctors are overburdened with work.
Every year same story & no one really cares about Healthcare System of this country.
