NY-01 is ready for real leadership that shows up and listens. We’ve hosted 9 in person town halls throughout the district with hundreds of attendees. Part of my mission plan is hosting regular town halls giving real and open conversations between residents and their representative. This is how democracy works best— showing up, listening and connecting directly with people. #longisland #suffolkcountyny #newyork #congress #election

Today, on National First Responders Day, we honor the firefighters, EMTs, police officers, and dispatchers who keep our communities safe. When the alarm goes off, they don’t ask whose house it is. They run toward the smoke. As a firefighter here on Long Island, I know what it means to answer that call, whether it’s a house fire or a neighbor who needs a hand. In Congress, I’ll fight to make sure every first responder has what they need, from mental health support to the equipment and funding to do the job safely. They have our backs. It’s time Washington had theirs. #congress #election #newyork #longislandny #firefighter

No-show LaLota doesn't work for Long Islanders, he works for Mar-a-Lago.
Nick LaLota threatened to withhold federal funding unless local communities get in line with his agenda. Let’s be clear. Those are Long Island taxpayer dollars. They belong to our communities, not to one politician. When funding is held back, it puts infrastructure projects and public safety improvements at risk. As a firefighter, I’ve never asked someone their political party before helping them. You serve everyone. That’s what leadership is. When I’m in Congress, I’ll fight to bring your federal tax dollars back home to Long Island, where they belong. It’s time for REAL representation. Early vote this week or on Election Day, November 3rd. #ny01 #congress #politics #suffolkcountyny #longisland

9 DAYS out from the midterms and something VERY interesting is happening in NY-01. Democratic challenger Chris Gallant just OUTRAISED Republican incumbent Nick LaLota in the latest quarter: GALLANT: $929,825 LALOTA: $609,038 And after LaLota dragged out those old photos of Chris in an attempt to embarrass him, Gallant’s campaign raised another $350,000 in just TWO WEEKS. Thanks, Nick! Maybe voters are tired of your bullshit? Gallant joined the National Guard at 17. He’s been a Black Hawk pilot, FAA air traffic controller, union leader and volunteer firefighter. Now he’s running on the thing Long Islanders are actually talking about: AFFORDABILITY. LaLota still has a significant cash advantage, and NY-01 is an uphill fight, but Gallant is a fighter and people are clearly paying attention. If you live in NY-01, take a serious look at Chris Gallant and his commitment to fight corruption and to make life affordable for Long Islanders again. Learn more about Chris and how you can help him flip NY-01 blue here: gallantny.com cc: @_gallantny

Shocking incompetence and we foot the bills. Rep. LaLota and Rep Garbarino refused to stop the insanity. Your vote can!
This illegal war was launched without a clear plan, executed without a coherent strategy, and now, eight months later, American families are still paying the price at the gas pump, at the grocery store, and with their tax dollars. From the start, this administration has lied to the American people about the timeline, the strategy, and the cost of this war. Nearly $50 billion in taxpayer dollars has already been spent, while families face thousands of dollars in higher costs and American service members are killed and wounded. This costly war must end to bring relief to working families, and this administration must be held accountable for its costly failures.

The war on Iran added $160 billion to gas and diesel spending in the US. The average US consumer paid nearly $500 in extra fuel costs, compared to a global average of roughly $60. Not to mention the fact that rising diesel prices will raise the cost of freight transport, shipping, and supply chains, which drives up the retail cost of groceries, goods, and airfares. We were misled about the reasons behind this war, the amount of casualties, the duration of the intervention, and the domestic financial toll.

Lying comes so easily to @RepLaLota He has NEVER held a face to face town hall open to all constituents. His map shows meetings with invited attendees of like minded individuals and there was no open invitation to the public. Vote this liar out.
At town halls and public events across Long Island, I meet directly with constituents, answer tough questions, and have honest conversations about the issues that matter most. No admission fees, party affiliation requirements, or handpicked audiences. Just decent Long Islanders—some who agree with me, others who don't—asking tough questions and engaging in honest, respectful conversations. No name-calling, manufactured outrage, or attempts to go viral. That's the job. Whether I'm agreeing to debates that my opponent backed out of, taking questions on CNN or Fox News, meeting with constituents throughout the district, or hosting town halls, I believe Republicans, Democrats, and Independents deserve the opportunity to ask tough questions and get straight answers. We won't always agree. But you'll always know where I stand. I'm not afraid to defend my record, explain my positions, or stand side-by-side with people who see things differently. Public service means showing up, listening, and being accountable—even when the questions are tough. That's how I've approached this job, and that's how I'll continue serving Long Island.

We don't need a bully or a MAGA sycophant representing Long Island. Vote for Chris Gallant who cares about us and our communities and thinks for himself!
