ANNOUNCEMENT! COMING October 2026! A yet to be titled novel by Jack Cuthbertson aka @bookclubhell666 "Book Club From Heaven". Rock band Atlas & The Shruggers rule the world with monumental aesthetics. Benighted Tasmania is the lone holdout. Schizoid fiction at its INSANEST!

I'd prefer publishers focused on literary qualty, not politics, because they are mostly bad at the latter, better at the former. A huge % of excellent writers historically are not on or of the left, and I don't know why we'd want or expect them to be.
I don’t think a literary publisher has any business being right-wing. I will make you a deal. You can publish, but you cannot call it literary.

Bonfire Books is doing great work, by the way. Last year they published Sleep Capricorn by Jack Norman which I highly recommend.

Nice review in @WordOnFire of Spare Us Yet by Bonfire E-i-C Lucas Smith. "A challenging collection, Spare Us Yet rewards close reading, with each story rich enough to warrant a review of its own."
“Smith is not especially concerned with settling ideological arguments or telling us which side is right. He is more interested in how imperfect people reach for God.” on.wof.org/UmyrH60

Books are for supermen, Übermenschen. All the rest is for Untermenschen. Love books. Read them. Try to understand what is within. That is the only way to stay human. The man is the middle of string between Superman and subhuman. The books make you what you are in the core.
You don't need books. You can get through life on vibes. Watch movies, listen to music, do stuff. Reading isn't for everyone even though book lovers say otherwise. If you want to be well educated, though, books are the way.

Someone has discovered the plotline of Billionaire Boys Club
There is literally a group of gen Z kids online that has mastered the art of VC investment fraud They have a playbook where they hire guys from stanford and MIT to be faces of a startup, vibe code some good looking software and straight up run away with investor money after raising small 100-500k preseed rounds I learnt about this today, considering how legal crime has become i can’t even say i’m surprised
