[Pacifica Founder @ConstanceWaing: From the FTX Collapse to the Future of AI Trading] FTX Netflix Series - Netflix trailer made her physically sick, and she stopped watching after just 30 seconds. - Criticized the overly dramatized portrayal of SBF and Caroline's relationship. - In reality, SBF was socially awkward and rarely made eye contact, while Caroline was very quiet and gentle. - Many FTX employees, including herself, only learned about their relationship after the collapse. FTX Collapse and Lessons Learned - Employees were also victims, having spent years building FTX without knowing about the misuse of customer funds. - Felt deeply disappointed and betrayed by SBF, but does not personally hate him. - Biggest lessons from FTX: ship fast, listen to users, and keep improving. @pacifica_fi's Strategy - Started as a perpetual futures trading platform, now expanding into a broader intelligent trading infrastructure. - Fully bootstrapped with no external funding and already reached breakeven. - Focused on building a sustainable long term business rather than chasing short-term profits or growth. AI Trading Infrastructure - LLMs aren't great at predicting prices, but are powerful tools for market analysis, research, and repetitive tasks. - Pacifica is building AI infrastructure, virtual machines, trading agents, dashboards, and backtesting tools. - The goal is to help everyday traders turn their ideas into strategies and test them, even without coding skills. - Plans to introduce exotic options and more trading products in the future. Crypto Market Outlook - Remains bullish on crypto in the long term. - Clearer regulations and better infrastructure are making the industry more mature compared to previous cycles. - Personally prefers buying and holding over leveraged trading.

Pacifica - Wake of the Rising Tide @pacifica_fi

⬛️ OFF THE RECORD 밋업 후기(feat.

I’ve been on @pacifica_fi since day one of mainnet, right after testnet wrapped. Kept trading, joining AMAs, sending mobile feedback, and spreading it through the Korean community I run. Huge congrats to @arr_kr @pangdungx @Happyhelper7777 for getting the OG role with me. You guys genuinely love Pacifica, and that means a lot. Thank you @oldman_cek for helping me start trading from week one. And thank you @whitesocks256 for holding it down in Korea and keeping the conviction alive. Keep swimming🌊
