Yes, the Education degree @GoldsmithsEduc1 really does make students ‘think’ critically about the social and cultural world around us. And many of our alumni go onto becoming leaders and innovators within the fields of education, policy, NGO’s, business & creative industries.
Have you considered studying for a degree in Education? Want to learn from international scholars in an inclusive and supportive environment? Come along to our Undergraduate Open Day @GoldsmithsUoL to find out more. We look forward to meeting you. gold.ac.uk/open-days/?gad_so…

That's absolutely amazing, @BrIslam2015. Well done. I'm definitely going to take a look at this book. Much needed to empower, in spire and help our children make connections with all the topics you have mentioned. Thank you for the tag.
I contribute a chapter in this edited book ‘Ethnicity, Religion, & Muslim Education in a Changing World’, where I advocate a culturally responsive pedagogy which incorporates the needs, identities & cultures of our pupils in education. @GoldsmithsEduc1 @shamtchK @routledgebooks

Great to be part of such motivated and dedicated educational leaders, professionals, teachers, and researchers. I'm both deeply optimistic about the numerous positive changes and deeply disheartened by the absence of advancement in certain areas, but we must endure, and we will!

This imp study by Ansar Ullah will make a valuable contribution to local area history - charting the wider socio-politics & the climate of fear leading up to the racial violence of 1978. We can ALL learn from the courage & resilience of the anti-racist activists of the 70/80s
Replying to @AlastairHackney
Thanks also for @DrJesson and @BrIslam2015 for examining. Watch out for a book in due course — an important contribution to British Bengali history from an influential local figure fabulous human being!

You’ve got this …. because you are an exceptional student, and your research is both interesting and super-important!! @GoldsmithsEduc1 @LauraJTeague @GoldsmithsUoL
Doing a PhD as a single parent and part time teacher/HoD is really hard, even with all the support I have. But @LauraJTeague @BrIslam2015 are brilliant supervisors. They are unfailingly supportive and give me strength after spending ages beating myself up over my slow progress.

Here are some very well researched and carefully worded lesson plans, in historical context for #KS3. However, they can easily be adapted for other key stages. Well done & thank you Aminul for sharing. Apologies for the late reply, @BrIslam2015. Thank you for the tag. #edutwitter

1/2 In my latest article for the edited book - Great Muslim Leaders - I argue that @BegumNadiya social justice campaigning around racism, Islamophobia & mental health makes her a role model to millions across the globe who feel ‘othered’ and invisible in their everyday life.
