Really proud that this is one of the research projects we’ve helped fund in Laura’s name. Every t shirt and mug we sell helps to fund vital research - nobody should go through the heartbreak of losing a loved one to brain cancer x #BeMoreLaura 🌈
Could ultrasound help make radiotherapy more effective for people with meningioma? 🔬 A new study led by our Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence at the University of Plymouth, in collaboration with the University of Oxford, is exploring exactly that. The £194,000, two-year project will investigate whether low-intensity focused ultrasound, combined with tiny gas-filled bubbles called microbubbles, could make meningioma tumour cells more sensitive to radiotherapy, potentially improving its effectiveness while reducing the impact on healthy brain tissue. The research is funded by Brain Tumour Research, with £50,000 supported by the Be More Laura Foundation, established in memory of Laura Nuttall. It’s an innovative approach that could open up new possibilities for treating the most common primary brain tumour in the UK. 👉 Read more about this new research and the people behind it: bit.ly/4zcu1ku #TogetherWeWillFindACure #BrainTumourResearch

Cancer patients in South Cumbria face gruelling 3-4-hour round trips every day for weeks on end to receive life-saving radiotherapy in Preston. This awful, unequal access to treatment costs lives. We need a satellite radiotherapy unit at Westmorland General Hospital.

It is incredibly hard to read this. Nearly 10 years ago Dame Tessa Jowell was diagnosed with Glioblastoma. Her action and determination had universal support. But how would she feel today if she knew there has been no change for GBM patients. International collaboration is needed

We always had hope, but 2 weeks after surgery, the tumour had already grown back to its original size Brain cancer is brutal, indiscriminate and devastating. This is an important week for our community, let's hope we finally see some meaningful change. @BrainCancerJust

It was wonderful to hear Emilia speak at the @BrainCancerJust MP drop in. She’s so inspiring and positive, great that she’s on a trial too - we just need more options for brain cancer patients exactly like that.
A huge privilege to welcome constituents, Emilia Atkinson & her mother Kayleigh to Parliament. Emilia was diagnosed with DIPG, an aggressive childhood brain tumour, last year age 10 & is now fighting for more research funding, an issue I have now raised with the Home Secretary

Confronting but powerful words shared by a fellow brain cancer patient. Thank you Huw for highlighting the reality facing so many brain cancer patients. @JackieCarter
Some brain cancer patients are AWAKE during surgery 🤯 Huw, a GP AND a brain cancer patient, explained what it was like to have his tumour removed. He could hear the surgeons as they drilled into his skull 😳 Have a listen. To find out more go to @huwsthedaddy @JackieCarter

I strongly believe this incredible man should receive the Helen Rollinson award at BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2026 What Archie has achieved while undergoing active treatment for brain cancer & campaigning for change - is truly astonishing. A true hero. @BBCSport #spoty
A powerful message from a powerful athlete, living with the unimaginable. Archie Goodburn finished seventh in the Men’s 50m Breaststroke final at Glasgow 2026, two years after being told he has incurable brain cancer.

We will always be grateful to @andyburnham for supporting the #BeMoreLaura Foundation & for his kind words at Bill Kenwright’s memorial service. I’m not politically naive and I don’t expect instant miracles but today feels like a really good day 💙
