Reminder that we will be hosting this webinar next Thursday 27th of March at 3pm GMT with our partners @AFFORD_UK.
It will explore how we can build a locally-led humanitarian system that is reflective of all humanitarian responders.
These themes also run through "Shabaka At Ten", an anthology of Shabaka's publications over the last decade exploring diaspora, migration and mutual aid in humanitarian action.
Shabaka's founder and former CEO @BAhmedShabaka and Director of Research and Advocacy @PaulAsquith will draw on this to discuss with our panellists, @Semhar Araia & Sherine El Taraboulsi-McCarthy of @StartNetwork, how humanitarians and local responders are already leading the way when it comes to adapting to changes in the humanitarian sector. The discussion will be moderated by @ElvinaQuaison.
Please join us for this important webinar and also help us celebrate Shabaka At Ten.
