Amazon $AMZN CEO Andy Jassy on whether external AI shopping agents are meaningfully impacting Amazon Ads:
“The answer is no.”
“Few customers are doing much shopping this way yet, as the experience is still not great, nor more convenient than coming to a retailer directly to research or one-click order there.”
Jassy expects Alexa for Shopping to become the primary shopping agent customers use on Amazon.
Over 400M customers used its AI shopping assistant in the past 12 months.
Customer interactions increased 570% YoY.
U.S. customers using Alexa for Shopping spend 50% more per order than those who don't.
Congrats to those that bought Amzn during the initial 13% dip AH. You guys got a great deal.
Fear and expectations vs the reality of continual growth. @ChrisCamillo
True
FSD could literally free up OVER $1.5 trillion/yr... WHY isn't anyone talking about this??
If Lawmakers were serious about serving the people, they would start focusing on how to speed up FSD adoption.
The Data:
Fatal & serious crashes cost the U.S. almost $2 trillion per year in total societal harm; including ~$400 billion in direct economic costs in the form of:
- medical bills
- property damage
- lost wages
- enormous quality-of-life cost of lost years
- permanent disability
Tesla’s latest FSD data shows vehicles with FSD engaged are ~9× SAFER than the average driver.
That means, if fully adopted, FSD could produce savings the size of any one of these:
- ~6% of GDP
- The entire Social Security program
- Medicare AND Medicaid
- Roughly 2× the defense budget
At this scale, FSD (and technologies like it) could be one of the first real steps toward an age of AI "abundance" people talk about.
50 years from now, our children and grandchildren will look back in horror at the fact that we ever drove at all.

🚨 BREAKING: The FCC voted to advance satellite-to-phone rules that would open 482 MHz more spectrum to direct-to-device service, growing it from 5 bands to 13.
AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile wanted 290 MHz cut.
Next: public comment, then a final vote.
This is a big step for Starlink Mobile.
Probably nothing…

Talarico says @elonmusk wants to "buy" Texas.
James, he didn't buy it, he built it: Tesla, SpaceX, X and thousands of Texas jobs.
You know who's trying to buy Texas? The out-of-state money pouring into your campaign. Keep Texas Texas. Vote Paxton, vote red!

98-Year-Old Man Buys His First Self-Driving Tesla Model Y And Is Blown Away
“I've been driving it probably 2-3 months, and it's not made an error in its driving. In fact, the other day it stopped - a chipmunk was crossing the road, and there was no other traffic, and it did not run over the chipmunk … For somebody that's 98-years-old, this is a real treat.”
