This is extremely worrying. Fit a new boiler (paid for by Donors), get the opportunity to splash the good deed all over SM for likes and more donations and finally pick apart the old (potentially fixable?) boiler and sell the parts on for even more £. Wow.

1. Why is @BritishGas supplying a free boiler to #Depher when Depher has +£400k in donations for heating works in its account?
2. Why does #Depher never refer its vulnerable clients to the various govt schemes for new boilers & upgrades?

The boiler has been allocated to a gentleman who has #pancreatic #Cancer and who is, unfortunately, terminal.
When I went to see him and his wife, they were both very emotional.
They have had a terrible 3 years and gave up on everything.
This may only be a free boiler installation, but to them it is so much more.
