We’ve got exceptional builders in the CML community. Meet one of them. Paul Angus Bark, CEO & Founder of Cointrol Limited. Paul has spent eight years in crypto and previously worked at Archax before leaving to start @cointrol_ltd with a clear goal: build wallets with a better user experience. He’s built Gobha: a non-custodial, gasless Ethereum wallet using post-quantum cryptography. Some of you will know Paul from our post-quantum cryptography panel. Here’s what he’s building beyond the stage. Live on iOS and Android. Try it and tell us how it feels cointrol.co/gobha-wallet

Businesses are no longer asking whether they should use stablecoins. They’re asking how. That shift was at the heart of our latest event: Stablecoins Grow Up: From Crypto Rails to Real-World Money. The conversation covered where stablecoins are already creating real value and what still needs to change before they can work at scale. Some of the biggest takeaways: • Cross-border payments, remittances and corporate treasury are emerging as the strongest use cases beyond crypto trading. • Adoption may happen without most people realising they’re using stablecoins. They’ll simply care that their money arrives quickly, cheaply and in the right currency. • Regulation is giving institutions the confidence to enter the market, but fragmented rules across jurisdictions remain a major barrier to scale. • Local-currency stablecoins matter. If UK businesses operate in pounds, they’ll need reliable onchain sterling not only dollar-denominated options. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and brought thoughtful questions into the room.

Stablecoins are moving beyond trading screens and into the real world. Last night, we discussed what it will take to make them work as everyday payment infrastructure, from regulation and scalability to adoption and user experience. A huge thank you to our speakers Kate Rhodes, Reuben Blamey, Juan Ignacio Ibanez and our moderator @HDisney, for sharing their expertise. Thank you to our sponsors: @DepoCoin, @vault12 @reedsmithllp for making the evening possible. We also welcomed @Bitfestuk for a preview of its four-day Bitcoin festival coming to Manchester in November. And CryptoMondays London is officially partnering with Solana Breakpoint 2026 for an event on 16 November. Limited sponsorship slots are available, contact: [email protected] Thank you to the entire CML team, and to S. Munib Rahman for capturing the night so beautifully. See you next time. Proof of Community. 💙

Had a great night at @CML_LDN tonight, where the panel has a detailed discussion about stablecoins, and how they’ve matured into real world money so rapidly. The panel was moderated by Helen Disney from Unblocked and included the very popular Reuben Blamey making GBP stablecoins at Agant, Kate Rhodes from @Mastercard & Juan Ignacio Ibañez from the MiCA Crypto Alliance One of the topics briefly mentioned that was of particular interest was how do we maintain decentralisation, in a world where centralised stablecoins are the ones being adopted the most? Additionally how do we make sure stablecoins DO NOT BECOME CBDCS!!!

Stablecoins have spent years being treated like crypto’s parking spot. Now they’re becoming payment infrastructure. But moving stablecoins from trading screens into everyday payments raises bigger questions around regulation, infrastructure, adoption and the experience of the people actually using them. That’s what we’re getting into next Monday: Stablecoins Grow Up: From Crypto Rails to Real-World Money We’re bringing together leaders from @Mastercard, @Plasma, @AgantFinance and @unblockedhub to discuss what it will take to make stablecoins work in the real world. If you’re building, investing or simply trying to understand where stablecoins go next, be in the room. This event is sponsored by @DepoCoin, @vault12, and @reedsmithllp. 📅 Monday, 19 October 📍 London Register here: luma.com/56472dr4

Samsung could introduce millions of people to stablecoins without teaching them a single piece of crypto jargon. USDC transfers are coming to Samsung Wallet across 82 million compatible Galaxy devices in the US. From late October, eligible users will be able to send USDC internationally and transfer funds to bank accounts in more than 60 countries. The announcement raises exactly the kind of questions we’ll be asking at our next stablecoin event: - Will adoption come from bringing more people into crypto? - Could stablecoins become everyday money without users ever thinking of themselves as crypto users? On October 19, leaders from @Mastercard, @Plasma, @AgantFinance and @unblockedhub will join us to discuss what it takes to move stablecoins from crypto rails to real-world money. Be there: luma.com/56472dr4

If only crypto folks understand stablecoins, they’ll never go mainstream. This is why Helen Disney’s work matters. @HDisney is a globally recognised blockchain advocate and the Founder of @unblockedhub. For over a decade, she has helped blockchain and frontier technology companies explain complex ideas in ways that connect with both technical and non-technical audiences. On 19 October, Helen will moderate our next panel and guide the conversation on what it takes to move stablecoins from crypto rails to real-world money. Be there: luma.com/56472dr4

Stablecoins have mostly been a dollar game, but @AgantFinance thought otherwise. After seven years of trading and operating in DeFi, Reuben Blamey, Co-Founder and COO of Agant, saw the need for a stablecoin built around the pound sterling, so he helped build one. On 19 October, he joins our panel to discuss what it takes to move stablecoins beyond crypto markets and into real-world payments. Be there: luma.com/56472dr4

Building a crypto product is one thing. Navigating the rules required to launch it in the UK is where things get difficult. Dr Lisa Cameron warns that if the UK makes it too difficult to build, founders can simply pick up their laptops and leave. In the latest episode of The Monday Club, Ade Molajo sits down with Dr Lisa Cameron and @PK_BLOCKCHAIN to discuss: Should crypto founders stay in the UK or move to Dubai?
