Pardon me, but is he not a foreign head of state?
NEW: Pope Leo XIV is set to become the first sitting pontiff in the Catholic Church’s two-thousand-year history to vote in a secular election. Leo requested an Illinois mail ballot on Oct. 3, and it was sent to his brother John’s home in New Lenox, Ill. John Prevost visited the pope at the Vatican on Wednesday and may now be carrying the ballot back to the Will County clerk by hand. thelettersfromleo.com/p/pope…

If I had nickel for every Pope with 1.5 lungs, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot. But still it’s strange that it happened twice.

Herein lies the truth of Robert Prevost’s regime and agenda.
» fsspx.news/fr/news/le-pontif…

William is on to something here. What is to stop a culture that claims a man can become a woman from also claiming that a machine can become a man?
Replying to @ArdorNew
The discussion centres on the extension of an already prevalent absurdity. The starting point is the proposition that to identify as X, is to be X. The present discussion takes this further, in positing that to be identified as X, is to be both X in re, and a thing capable of identifying as X.

Bp. Boxie implies that he's sort of the Sydney Poitier of American bishops - "I became only the second black American bishop in the entire United States" Bp. Boxie is a race grifter who is either ignorant about the historical and demographic facts (odd, since he seems so obsessed by them) or is intentionally being more than a bit misleading or loose with the truth. The percentage of American Catholics who are black has been estimated at 2% - 5%. There are 440 living bishops in the United States, 14 of whom are black, which roughly tracks those numbers. Boxie leaves out the three active American black bishops who were born in Haiti, the Caribbean and Africa. (It makes sense you would see this, as a large percentage of American black Catholics are foreign-born from those areas.) Perhaps he believes that foreign-born Americans aren't really American. He also leaves out the nine-currently retired black bishops (some very recently retired) including the well-known Cardinal Wilton Gregory and Bishop Joseph Perry, who has long had an advisory role at my Latin Mass parish in Chicago. There were also an additional six retired American black bishops who died in the last ten years, and of course a number who died earlier. The first American black bishop in modern times - Harold R. Perry of New Orleans - had his much more authentic "Sydney Poitier moment" in 1965 (at about the time that Poitier himself had his moment), with many following in the 70s, 80s and 90s. These men were trailblazers. Bp. Boxie, who more or less admits that he was a DEI hire "to give black American Catholics a voice" neglects to mention them. He seems to believe, rather, that he's the man, in this "moment of healing for us in the United States." Narcissism, dishonesty and racial pot-stirring is not what any Catholic needs from a bishop or a priest.
Why are there so few Black bishops in America? “The short answer is racism.” America’s youngest bishop, Robert Boxie (@WashArchdiocese), speaks candidly about a Confederate flag in seminary, tokenism, DEI, what white Catholics often miss ... and why the Church cannot be afraid of hard conversations about race. Full episode in reply.

The United States has saved Canada untold millions of dollars over the last 30 years in unneeded Stanley Cup parades and they thank us with a trade war.

It's distressing how many people have such low standards of evidence, mixed with extreme skepticism in some areas and extreme gullibility in others. The sign of wisdom, in contrast, is believing what ought to be believed, and doubting what ought to be doubted.
This really is one of the most straightforward cases ever. That people have constructed elaborate scenarios in their minds that exculpate Robinson says nothing about the case itself and everything about how easily people can be manipulated to believe almost anything.

The day after tomorrow is the 6th anniversary of the worst day of my life, the day when my friend Fr. Paul Mankowski, SJ died. My book is still in print and this is not shameless self-promotion because the royalties wouldn't buy me a bag of groceries, but you owe to yourself to meet this man and know that he lived. The darker the world gets, the MORE you need to know. Plus he was hysterically funny, and you could probably use a good laugh about right now.

When 80% of Catholics do not attend Mass at all, they are engaging in ZERO PARTICIPATION.
Pope Leo XIV described the liturgical reforms following the Second Vatican Council as necessary to encourage the faithful's active participation. He held his final catechesis on the liturgy during his General Audience at the Vatican on Aug. 26. ewtnnews.com/vatican/pope-le…
