Excited to announce the Cosign Awards: celebrating exceptional people, companies, and products that had a massive impact in 2026. cosign.co/awards Anyone can nominate and vote. Award winners will be chosen by the public in conjunction with a panel of judges, including industry leaders like @lennysan, @packyM, @amasad, and many more. We’ll host an event in December honoring the winners (10 per category). For people categories, we’re mostly focused on everyone except the CEO–everyone else building the company behind the scenes. Companies with the most amount of people nominations will be listed on our “Top Companies to Work For” page. True to form, at Product Hunt I helped launch the Golden Kitty awards a decade ago to recognize great products. Soon after I launched the Rise Awards, honoring executives and ICs building companies that make them. The Cosign Awards is the next iteration. Friday was my last day at Anthropic. Two years ago, when Claude Code was a small internal tool, I asked it to build an RL env. I steered it for tens of hours but never manually wrote a line of code. It worked, I was hooked, and I joined the team. When we first launched, most people approved every permission prompt by hand and mostly used Claude to answer questions and write tests.  Today, the default is trusting Claude's judgment to auto-approve. Claude does large migrations and builds new products.  Helping build Claude Code into an industry-defining product has been the journey of a lifetime.  Thank you to the incredible team behind Claude Code, Cowork, and Tag. These products are the sum of thousands of great ideas from you. I'll miss working with you all. Thank you to our users for embracing a new way of working. Your constant feedback shaped so much of what we shipped and your stories made the work so meaningful. Excited to see what you all make next!

The 2026 American Dynamism 50 is here: our annual list of 50 companies, from within the a16z portfolio and beyond, building for America's future. This year's theme is Production is Deterrence.
