Today I am on strike, this is never an easy choice to make but I believe in fighting for local services. ‘69% of local authorities are ‘not confident’ they will be able to meet the demand for EP services if there is no change in funding, training and service delivery models.’

I’m on strike today.
It is hard as I don’t want to let people down.
Sadly, our profession faces a recruitment and retention crisis. Workloads have risen, there is not fair access to services and the work we are expected to do is increasingly complex.
