…but (as far as I can tell), we’ve not heard a peep about it since.
Any chance of a little update, perhaps?
We've announced a £1.3m programme to evaluate how wastewater monitoring could help detect a wide range of dangerous pathogens including mpox, West Nile virus and Lassa fever.
This work builds upon the UK's existing monitoring for polio 🔬

It’s now clear - at least to me - that War on three fronts is about to erupt. A major US attack upon Iran possibly involving nuclear weapons, a European attack upon Russia, and an Israeli ethnic cleansing operation in the West Bank. Clearly co-ordinated between all three belligerents. Expect suspension of civil liberties, elections, a full-media takeover by the security services.

BREAKING: UK has agreed to provide defensive air support to Saudi Arabia to help counter Houthi fighters and restore stability in the Middle East while driving down the cost of living at home.
Ahead of his first meeting with Donald Trump, Andy Burnham said he’d agreed to a request for air-to-air refuelling of Saudi jets to defend energy infrastructure against the Iran-backed rebels - and help keep oil flowing from the Gulf to ease global economic turmoil.
PM also revealed he will use his first meeting with Trump on Tuesday to urge the US president to de-escalate the conflict in Iran, warning that “dark clouds of global instability” are directly affecting people’s lives all over the world.
The ongoing turmoil in the Middle East has pushed up global energy prices, putting the UK economy under intense inflationary pressure and increasing government borrowing costs to multi-year highs just weeks before a crucial first budget for the new government.

Killings of British aid workers, family’s statement: “The coroner told us today that Colonel Mendel [who ordered the killings], the Israeli military and the Israeli government are going to be made interested persons in this inquest.
“We also have questions for the British government. An RAF surveillance plane was flying over Gaza on the day James died. The Ministry of Defence has the footage from that flight but will not tell us whether it shows the area where the convoy was hit. We think the coroner should be given it.”
