After selling my painting business for six figures, I took time to travel throughout India with my family. I currently run another 7 figure painting biz.

In the entrepreneurial space, most people overrate hard work and underrate courage.

I’m fully convinced that 2026-2031 will make or break your life. AI has made information free. Being high agency is now easy. There are zero barriers to entry. You don’t need a team. 99% of people will piss away the opportunity by over-consuming and staying distracted, making them a slave to boring jobs. 1% of people will use this time in history to get wealthy.

BREAKING: Scientists confirm that ADHD adults who run on chronic anxiety are using cortisol as a primary activation chemistry. The body was not built to run on stress hormones. Decades of thriving under pressure was a chemistry workaround. The crash in your 50s is the receipt 🧵 1/6
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The post claims "scientists confirm" ADHD involves using cortisol as primary activation chemistry with crashes in the 50s, but no such recent study exists and evidence shows lower cortisol in ADHD. Adrenal fatigue is not a recognized condition. adhdukassessment.co.uk/research/evide… endocrine.org/patient-engage… sciencebasedmedicine.org/adrenal-fatigu…

A lesson I wish I knew in my 20s: Talent is massively overrated. Focus is massively underrated. Talent without focus is potential that you keep, not fulfill.

I’m genuinely concerned how many fall for the lie of job security. Mass layoffs are the norm and even high performers will get fired. Escape the traditional path.

We've reached a point where people who've never built a company have absolute certainty about how companies should be built. Meanwhile, founders who've spent years building one will openly admit how much they still don't know. The internet has created a strange world where those with the least experience often have the strongest opinions, while those with the most experience are expected to defend every word they say. It's remarkable how much easier entrepreneurship looks when the only thing you've ever built is an opinion about it.

I believe the purpose of life is to be happy. Happiness is not guaranteed, we have to work for it. The most important way to do this is to cultivate concern for others. That’s how to take a wise approach to our natural self-interest.

Entrepreneurship is brutal for people who tend to stew on things, obsess over failure, or get trapped in negative thoughts. If you can’t find a way to move past setbacks, it’s going to be incredibly difficult to make it work - especially in the early going. You need an almost relentless level of optimism—the ability to take a hit, learn from it, and genuinely believe the next opportunity is right around the corner.

Hot take (that shouldn’t be that hot): You can have a drink now and then with your friends and still be a healthy person. Too many people traded drinks with friends for social media doomscrolling, porn, and gambling by themselves.

The Beatles are not overrated. At all. I’m sorry but if you think this I could probably sell you your own urine at $9.99 a bottle, because that’s the level of stupidity that this take implies.
*deep inhale* Guys, it’s The Beatles. Formulaic music that got hyped into genius status by a perfect storm of timing and savvy media, not actual skill. Expert exploitation of trends already pioneered by others. They’re a marketing phenomenon that got called the greatest because they sold a lot of records to herd-mentality teenagers, not because the music itself was ever the most advanced, demanding, or enduring rock ever made.

You gotta respect Yaxel’s grit, for a rookie to challenge a future HOF like that in his NBA debut speaks volumes. I see nothing but special things in the future for Yaxel. Draymond was right, the Dubs may have gotten themselves the future face of this franchise 🙌 With that said, welcome to the NBA, rook! 😅🔥😤

Jensen Huang on why you should fall in love with your work: “A lot of people say, find something you love. I don’t know about that. I’ve loved every single job I’ve ever had. I loved it when I was a dishwasher. I loved it when I was a busboy. I loved it when I was delivering papers. I loved it when I was waiting tables. And I loved every single day at NVIDIA that I’ve ever had. I just learned to love what I’m doing. It’s probably harder to find something that you love, but it’s easier to fall in love with what you’re doing. And once you fall in love with what you’re doing, because you just desperately want to do a good job at it, it’s easier to do it well, and do it hard.”

Great post.
Jason says Bill Gates is the perfect example of why CEOs should never retire and just keep working "Instead of him being based and saying, 'F*ck you, I'm gonna build the greatest company in the world, I'm gonna keep building, I'm gonna stay CEO', he felt all that pressure from the antitrust and being the most hated man." "He said, 'Oh, I gotta be loved. How am I gonna be loved? I get rid of Polio, I'll give all my money away, I'll do this Giving Pledge.'" "The lesson here, folks, is don't quit your job. Just keep working, keep building sh*t. Once you quit your job, it gets in your f*cking head, and then you have too much time on your hands and you spiral." "And then you're worried about the Pulitzer. You know who's not worried about the Pulitzer Prize? Elon. Steve Jobs is not worried about the Pulitzer. Satya is not worried about the Pulitzer. Zuck's not worried about winning a Nobel Peace Prize. Whatever it is, just keep working. It's enough already with the retirement." David Sacks: "If you're worried about what your New York Times eulogy is gonna be, then you'll be controlled by those people. And they're the most crazy left wingers there are. So you're just gonna have to accept that." Jason: "I mean, this is my advice to Bill Gates: come on the program and start another company. Ben Horowitz is here, all he does is build."

I was at the World Series game when the upper deck started shaking like crazy. I was 9 and was scared out of my mind!
I’ll tell you what, we’re having an earthqua—” On this day, October 17, 1989, a massive 6.9 earthquake struck San Francisco during the live broadcast of the World Series. Does anyone remember watching this unfold live? Incredible footage of announcers Al Michaels and Tim McCarver maintaining their composure, unsure if they were even still on the air. The series, played between Bay Area rivals Oakland A’s and San Francisco Giants, would forever be remembered as the “Earthquake Series.
