NEW: Ontario's integrity commissioner obtained many months of text messages between PC MPP Laurie Scott & John Mutton (aka Mr. X). The texts show the pair building rapport around 2 efforts: getting special zoning approvals for his clients & helping her political fundraising.

Get that garbage outta here! But where would it go? The Ford government is taking away municipalities' say on where a landfill or incinerator could be located, with promises of consultation. And the province is blaming Trump. #onpoli

Perfectly describes the confusion among some about why people would ever vote for their own interests #ToPoli

Cyclists staged a die-in on Bloor St W at Islington tonight, lying in the road with their bikes in front of a Toronto police line. One sign: "It's not about politics, it's about life or death." October 21 2026 #Toronto #Canada #News

These 32 #BloodBikes commemorate the 32 people killed on Bloor, Yonge & University in 20-years before bike lanes were built. After bike lanes were installed only one tragic loss of life has occurred in 6-years since 2020. Bike lanes keep EVERYONE save, not only people cycling.

Is it too much to ask for publishers of articles advocating for cycling routes on secondary roads in Toronto to require their authors to submit a proposed alternative? @RDiManno, is this the sort of secondary route you're thinking as an alternative to the Yonge Street lanes?
