I used to follow @whatsuptucson for actual Tucson updates… traffic, incidents, useful local info. Lately, it’s more constant donation asks and posts that broadcast where LE and federal agents are. That doesn’t help the city. It can put the people who keep Tucson and the border safe in unnecessary danger. Accounts that claim to be a “public service” should stick to that. If the priority is tipping off operations and asking for money instead of just reporting what’s happening, Tucson has better options. Do the job you said you’d do, or stop entirely. I don’t care who gets angry over this, but I have a daughter and many friends in LE and BP and this pisses me off to NO end! 😡
