NEWS: Iowa coach Ben McCollum is finalizing a new six-year contract, sources told me and @jeffborzello . McCollum led the Hawkeyes to the Elite Eight in his first season at the helm and was pursued by North Carolina during the Tar Heelsβ coaching search last month.

Dad,
There was a lot you taught me that I didnβt fully understand at the time. Your advice always sounded simple, but the older I get, the more I realize how much depth was behind it. The path to where I am now wasnβt simple, but the lessons you taught me stayed with me and kept me moving forward.
You always reminded me that life isnβt about having everything figured out. Itβs about taking things one step at a time. Whenever things felt overwhelming, youβd remind me to just keep going, to focus on the next step in front of me.
It sounds small, but it means everything⦠especially now. No matter where life takes me, I still hear that in the back of my mind. It always reminds me to take the next right step. And to never stop moving forward.
Keep going.
