The pastor at @CastletonUMC has a story of faith and family, hunger and hope, and every day in September it begins like this: “Want to play catch?” indystar.com/story/sports/co…

Castleton UMC pastor Matt Landry's daily game of catch starts with baseball but digs deep into your heart, finding soft places you didn’t know existed

A beautiful Vigil tonight at @CastletonUMC to honor Ariel, the 18-year-old who was tragically killed, and to pray for her family and friends. Her family did a very good job of memorializing her life when they spoke. In addition to the LN-LC shooting last night as well, it’s been a difficult week for our community. My deepest condolences to all those who have been impacted by both tragedies.

President/CEO Fred Glass had a great time playing catch yesterday afternoon, supporting @LandryRev and his 30 Days of Catch fundraiser. Rev. Landry and @CastletonUMC have been great partners in our summer CARE mobile pantry program this year. Learn more in the blog linked below.

Thank you to @CastletonUMC for hosting this morning’s prayer at Lake Castleton apartments to honor Sean McNellye and Michael Mason Jr. who were shot and killed in the Castleton area this week. It was a beautiful tribute to two lives who should still be here today.
