If Zelensky Is So Corrupt, Why Can’t Anyone Buy Him? 🇺🇦
I just realized something almost hilarious if it wasn’t very obvious and also real about the whole anti-Zelensky narrative.
For years we have been told that Zelensky is corrupt, illegitimate, a puppet, a billionaire thief, some CIA creation, whatever version happens to be useful that day. And yet somehow Putin, Trump, oligarchs, billionaires and the entire anti-Ukraine political machine still cannot control him.
Think about that contradiction.
Zelensky was elected in 2019 with about 73% of the runoff vote. Ukraine has not held another presidential election because elections are suspended under martial law during Russia’s invasion, something Zelensky has said could change if conditions allow a safe and legal vote. Meanwhile Trump, Elon and others are now openly calling for Ukraine to replace him after Zelensky refused demands to stop attacking Russian energy infrastructure and bend over to them.
And this is where their own propaganda stops making sense. If Zelensky were really as spectacularly corrupt as they claim, why wouldn’t somebody have bought him years ago?
Putin has all the money. Russian oligarchs have money. Western billionaires have money. Elon has more money than all of them. Trump has political power. There are people with enormous financial and geopolitical interests who would benefit from a Ukrainian president willing to make the right deal for them.
If Zelensky were really nothing but a corrupt opportunist, the easiest path imaginable would have been to take the money, make peace with Putin on Putin’s terms, protect himself, become insanely wealthy, powerful and live comfortably ruling the Ukraine and the area as a probably richest dictator on earth.
Instead, Russia invaded, Zelensky stayed, Ukraine kept fighting, and years later these people are still trying to pressure him, discredit him, replace him and convince everyone that he is somehow the problem.
Trump and Elon has now publicly called for Ukraine to get a new president after Zelensky resisted pressure over Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries. Their relationship has deteriorated sharply precisely because Zelensky has continued pursuing policies Washington told him to stop.
So maybe the reason so many powerful men seem absolutely fucking obsessed with Zelensky is much simpler than all the conspiracy theories.
Maybe they hate him because they cannot break him.
Maybe they hate him because they cannot buy him.
Maybe they are simply jealous of him and his amazing courage and integrity.?
And maybe nothing drives men obsessed with power more insane than another man they cannot control.
I asked this same question some time ago

IN MEMORY OF JESSE ADAMS 🕯️
On October 25, our dear friend and rescuer Jesse Adams, founder of RainCoast Dog Rescue Society, was killed in an FPV drone attack while evacuating animals from Kramatorsk.
Hundreds of animals are alive thanks to him.
We’ll never forget you, Jesse❤️🩹

I've started translating videos some time over 4 years ago. I've taken about 2 weeks off the entire time.
I put in countless hours every day to find materials that I think matter as well as clips that I think would lift your spirits and make you smile — because we all need that under the circumstances.
I've put my life on hold because I don't have a team — I'm just one person, and between work and my family, there's little free time left for much else.
I don't know how many videos I've translated. Even if I count 5 a day on average, it's already over 7,000. My guess is that in reality the number is over 10,000.
I've never watermarked my videos or added my name to them. I want people to use them if they think it helps Ukraine in some way or fights Russian propaganda.
If they credit me — great, it's nice to feel appreciated. If they don't — that's fine with me because I'm here for Ukraine. Mostly…
Mostly, and not only, because I'm also here for all of you wonderful people who chose to stand with Ukraine in its darkest time of this century.
Just like me, you spend countless hours supporting Ukraine — a nation to which many of you, unlike me, have no personal ties.
I can’t express how deeply I admire your dedication.
I’m in awe of you!
I love our pro-Ukrainian community! ❤️

May the memory of those murdered today by the Kremlin’s terrorist regime live forever, bright and undimmed.
My heart goes out to the families who have lost their loved ones and to everyone injured. May you find the strength to endure what no human being should ever have to endure. No words can undo this pain, and no words can bring back those who will never come home.
As for Russia, may the suffering and grief it has inflicted upon innocent people return to its own conscience for generations to come — for ten generations and beyond. No nation can build its future on the blood of innocents and expect history to look away.
The dead deserve to be remembered. The living deserve justice. And the world must never grow so accustomed to Ukrainian suffering that another innocent life becomes just another headline.
Eternal and blessed memory to the fallen. Ukraine will remember.

🇨🇦 CANADIAN GLOBAL DOMINANCE.
THE WORLD HAS BEEN PUT ON NOTICE. 🐤
Canada supplies nearly 80% of the world’s canary seed exports.
Most of it comes from Saskatchewan.
Somewhere on the other side of the planet, a canary that can’t even pronounce Saskatchewan properly is eating Saskatchewan grain and loving it.
That’s right. We’ve quietly established global dominance over the international canary seed trade.
FOR A BIRD THAT ISN’T EVEN NATIVE TO OUR COUNTRY.
We don’t like to brag.
But frankly, the world should be a little intimidated.

262 days.
It’s been 262 days since you were airlifted to BC Children’s Hospital.
262 days since we were told, “We did everything we could, but we don’t think she’s going to make it through the night.”
Since then, I’ve watched you fight for every single one of those days.
251 days ago, you opened your eye, moved it, and shifted your leg only to be rushed back for emergency surgery that morning when hydrocephalus set in.
238 days ago, you were extubated and breathed on your own for the first time.
230 days ago, you felt the sun on your face again.
224 days ago, the cranioplasty we had planned turned into yet another emergency when an infection was discovered.
214 days ago, your EVD was finally removed.
213 days ago, you sat on the edge of the bed with a little help, and I wrapped my arms around you for the first time since the morning I left for work before any of this began.
191 days ago, the NG tube came out, and I saw your beautiful face completely clear of tubes and tape.
179 days ago, your prosthetic skull was placed. Your fifth surgery, and the one that finally stuck. After that, things slowly began to feel possible again.
145 days ago, you smiled for the first time (intentionally) while we played thumb war.
140 days ago, I wheeled you off hospital grounds for the very first time.
61 days ago, I heard your voice again.
40 days ago, we celebrated your 13th birthday at the Foo Fighters.
And today, today you’re being released.
There was never a day I stopped believing we would get here. The road ahead is still long, but this is a milestone no one thought we would reach. Maya, you are the bravest person I know. You are an inspiration to so many people. Giving up was never an option for me, and it clearly never was for you either. You refused to accept the words we heard 262 days ago when you came out of the OR. Look at you, my girl. You blew every expectation out of the water.
Thank you to the incredible nurses, doctors, and therapists who walked every step of this with us. Thank you to everyone who supported Maya and our family we could not have done this without each and every one of you.
Now it’s time to leave these hospital walls behind and keep moving forward, Maya Bear.
I love you forever and always.

I saw Ksenia's post last night, messaged her and then cried.
Our city is under fire, everything we know and love is being erased and our friends and family are losing everything.
Every one of my animal rescues from Sivers'k, Toretsk and other villages across the frontline involved Ksenia in one way or another.
Every single evacuation west with 30+ animals was coordinated from this house.
Every single animal food delivery started with Ksenia.
Countless times I have walked in carriers filled with cats, kgs of food and received aid from this house.
Ksenia and her family lost their home and Donetsk lost a sanctuary for anyone who loves animals.
This is an unimaginable loss for Ksenia and for #Kramatorsk.
Every day the invaders give me one more reason to hate them and turn my hate and anger into motivation to delete them all.
💔 Sad time.
Two days ago while we were evacuating people from Kramatorsk we discovered Ksenia’s house had been destroyed by Russian drones.
Just a house we could say…. It was not just a house, what was achieved out of this building is amazing.
Ksenia is an animal volunteer as many of you know and while she was bringing in new animals from the front and organising for animals to be moved to a safer place in Ukraine and beyond she was doing this from the basement and a couple of other locations.
Numerous animal organisations have used this house for their operations too.
From Twitter @penpushermakar asked me if I could help rescue her dog Tori from Kupainsk and on my travels Tori lived in this house for a few days before heading to her new life in Latvia.
While Ksenia was working in the basement, her husband was working on the top floor 3D printing for military operations with multiple printers and circuit board etchers.
It was here we would print profiles and attachments for drones and other things for SOF into the night often standing on the balcony looking for shahed and explosions from the view while sharing stories.
The middle floor was recreational where we met with the military personnel who had just come back from dangerous parts of the front like Chasiv Yar, Lyman, Toretsk and Pokrovsk directions.
I met @AprilHuggett here a few times and @RimaFellaria came here to see our 3d printing too.
This is also where I slept while in Kram.
It is crazy to think of the many more things achieved by other organisations in this house I’ve not included in this post.
Kramatorsk is in crisis right now, we must help as much as possible before Russia wipes all cities off the map.
Please support all fundraisers in Donetsk region and if you don’t already have one please see my pinned post to support Liut defending Druzhkivka direction.

This is an immense loss for Ukraine and for #Canada.
I have said time and again we are losing our best.
Jesse and I had talked before, always had plans to meet for coffee but Russians killed him before we could make time.
You were a hero who gave everything for Ukraine.
See you in Valhalla. 🇨🇦 🇺🇦
💔 Russian monsters killed a Canadian volunteer who was saving animals in Ukraine
Canadian Jesse Adams was killed on October 25 while evacuating animals from Kramatorsk. A Russian FPV drone struck a vehicle belonging to Animal Rescue Kharkiv.
Adams suffered severe injuries. Doctors tried to save him, but he died in hospital.
The Canadian joined the team in May 2026 and travelled with Ukrainian rescuers to frontline communities to help people and evacuate animals.

I thought I’d maybe stop to make a video to explain what it is I’m doing and why this walk on @islandwalk where I have covered over 209km in winds, rain, and a head cold, as hard as it’s been is a profoundly meaningful experience. It is a way that I can support Ukraine even if I can’t be there right now. You can show your support too every like share and donation makes a difference. Don’t believe the propaganda that little actions are not meaningful actions because the butterfly effect is real. Every little thing we do to stay behind Ukraine is going to be the difference between winning and losing. And Ukraine is going to win.
