ATTENTION CASUALS & HATERS… the ones who criticize Julius Randle for any flaw he has & truly think the New York Knicks are better without him. This is why you are & always been wrong:
-Gravity & Attention: Julius Randle could shoot badly but he still draws double teams, he gets the attention from the defense, opponent has to put their best defenders on him & it opens up the floor for his team.
-Playmaking: Obi Toppin can shoot, can move without the ball & run in transition but since Obi doesn’t draw the defense in he can’t create open looks for his teammates in the half court. As you saw last game Randle had 6 assists in the 1st half last game.
-Defense/Rebounding: He has his lapses but he is a big body, mobile & stays disciplined.
-Iso Scoring: You hate it but you need tough baskets you need that creation from all 3 levels.
-LAST THING LEADERSHIP, PHYSICALITY & MENTAL TOUGHNESS: I don’t need to explain this you already know. Julius Randle will be back in Game 2. Knicks in 6.
