What would repealing the Affordable Care Act without more than a concept of a plan look like? Before the ACA became law in 2010, insurance was expensive and often hard to obtain. Most policies didn’t cover pre-existing conditions.

It's bad enough when a guest comes on and spouts misinformation about Israel, but it's worse when a host conjures stats out of thin air to make Israel look bad. Yet that's exactly what NPR's Leila Fadel did in her talk with Biden adviser Jon Finer 👇👇👇 camera.org/article/on-npr-ma…

In 1952, an English teacher named Cecil Dormand secretly paid for a dirt-poor 11-year-old to take a drama course. He never told him and the boy didn’t find out until decades later. By then, he was a knight, that little boy’s name was Patrick Stewart. He was born into a poor family in Mirfield, a small mill town in Yorkshire and his father came home from World War II a violent man, and he was violent toward Patrick’s mother. Young Patrick learned exactly when to step between his father’s fist and his mother. An English teacher put a copy of Shakespeare in his hand and told him to get up and perform. He never stopped and left school at 15. By 19 he was completely bald... most agencies told him he'd never make it because of that. In 1987, the LA Times called him an “unknown British Shakespearean actor” when he was cast as Captain Picard. Then he became one of the most famous faces on Earth. You’ve probably heard that part. Here’s the part you haven’t: He spent decades as a patron of Refuge, sheltering women and children from domestic violence. But he never stopped trying to understand his father. He dug up a 1940 newspaper clipping that said his dad had come home with severe shell shock. He went to France and walked the ground where his father’s unit was pinned down under bombing for hours. He learned his father had PTSD, and nobody ever helped him. So Patrick became an ambassador for Combat Stress, a charity that helps veterans. In 2013, a young woman at a Texas convention told him she was a survivor of domestic violence. He asked, “My dear, are you okay?” Then he hopped off the stage, held her, and told her: “You never have to go through that again, you’re safe now.” At Dragon Con, a Make-A-Wish girl dressed as Spock came to meet him. 2,000 people were waiting for him to speak... he sat down and talked with her for 15 minutes, making all of them wait. He told her that since they were friends now, whenever she saw him on screen she could wave and say, “Hello Patrick.” After 9/11, he felt helpless, so he brought his one-man A Christmas Carol back to Broadway for a full week of charity shows. He played every character himself and donated every cent. In 2019 he did it again, and every dollar went to feeding hungry New Yorkers. In 2017, he fostered a pit bull named Ginger, who had been rescued from a dogfighting ring. She was his first dog in more than 50 years. He couldn’t bring her home to England, so he found her a family. Then he kept fostering more. When he said he was done with Star Trek so many people told him the show had gotten them through the hardest times of their lives. So he wanted to see if Picard could do it one more time. Rest in Peace, Sir Patrick 🖖

Imagine you are a dental hygienist and live in Sweden.. You are employed to help “migrant children” with their dental issues. As part of your job you examine the wisdom teeth development of the kids and you notice that 80% of those “kids” have fully formed wisdom teeth, implying they are not kids at all but adults older than the age of 18. You tell the Swedish Migration Agency and they advise you to put it in writing. When you send exact details, with examples of specific patients you are suspended, investigated and fired for disclosing private information relating to patients. This happened to Bernt Herlitz in 2017. When he appealed the unfair dismissal he ultimately lost and was fined about $50,000. He and his family faced financial hardship and almost lost their home, until some generous benefactors raised money for him. Bernt remains unemployed today, despite staff shortages for dentists in his area in Gotland. At the time, Sweden scoffed at the tests and claimed they were “discriminatory” but since then they have quietly brought in mass dental testing, for those whose age is in doubt, by the National Board of Forensic Medicine. Bernt deserves a medal. Not vilification and unemployment.

The concern is what these PACs are helping bring into the Democratic mainstream: antisemitic rhetoric and troubling donor and organizational ties. Through funding and campaign support, these groups are working to turn their priorities into political influence. This ecosystem deserves scrutiny.

A New Policy Pac is a hybrid PAC aimed at reshaping U.S. policy towards Israel and Palestine. They work in coalition with a broad set of pro-Palestine advocacy organizations, including CODEPINK, an anti-war activist group that has a history of close ties to the Hamas regime in Gaza.

American Priorities is a Super PAC who planned to spend “at least $10 million” in the 2026 midterms on candidates who are explicitly critical of Israel and of AIPAC’s influence. One of their listed donors is Dan Bilzerian, a man who openly espouses antisemitic hatred and who once said, “I’ll go kill Israelis… give me a f**king rifle.”

"I was completely shocked to the core by the lack of apartheid and racism" in Israel. The UN is corrupt. Extremist Islamism is the danger. Stop hating Israel. It's not the enemy.
MUST WATCH: @JustLuai stuns the United Nations by unveiling the rampant racism and Jew-hatred that he grew up with in Yemen — and how his visit to Israel after October 7th and witnessing life there changed his worldview. “Everything I was taught about Israel was a lie.”

The Arab-majority parties explicitly refuse to recognize Hamas as a terrorist group. Are there any other countries you demand include terrorist sympathizers in governing coalitions based on their ethnicity?

Press freedom is essential, but without accountability, it falls short. In Part 1 of CAMERA's 3-part series on Media Bias, U.S. Media Research Manager @dmlitman explores how flawed coverage of Israel impacts real-world policy and public perception. How media fails Israelis & Palestinians, and how to fix it: joinscholarscircle.org/event… #MediaBias #Journalism #Israel #CAMERA

It's not complicated: The 2 million Arab Israelis are Israeli citizens and vote in Israeli elections, just like any other Israeli citizens. Palestinians vote in Palestinian Authority elections (IF dictator Abbas ever lets them happen again. He is in the 22nd year of his 4-year term). It's so simple that even a UN Special Rapporteur should be able to understand.
Israel allows 2 million Palestinians with Israeli citizenship (who did not become refugees in 1948) to vote and run for office while it denies that right to 6+ million it has kept under a brutal illegal occupation for nearly 60 years. That is not democracy. It is Apartheid.

Palestinians should be voting in Palestinian Authority elections. But yet again Mahmoud Abbas has postponed them. No elections since 2006. Elections were one of the reform promises made by Mahmoud Abbas and the PA to Western governments. Mahmoud Abbas and the PA: 20 years without elections. 20 years without accountability. 20 years of broken promises.

Get money out of politics, right? 🤑
"The time is now Habibi you need to move that PAC" Linda Sarsour claims she told the "CAIR-endorsed Super PAC" to pour money into Mamdani's campaign. What else has she been telling CAIR and other special interest donors?
