Mike Rogers just did what more Republicans should do. He told FOX 2 “hard pass” on a so-called debate with Abdul El-Sayed because the moderator already picked a side. That’s not cowardice. That’s refusing a stacked room. Rogers is a Michigan kid who served as an Army lieutenant, then as an FBI agent taking down organized crime. He chaired the House Intelligence Committee. He doesn’t owe a performance to a DSA-aligned activist who built a career on racial grievance and now wants a Senate seat. El-Sayed can stand next to an empty podium and call names or better yet sit down with Hasan Piker and openly discuss their plans to destroy America. They can discuss the real life failures of Socialism in history and how they don’t care. Rogers already served this country. He doesn’t have to prove it to a left-wing media setup that treats patriotism like a punchline.
