Scots Find A Way! Bright future for the Scots!
64-60, Highland Park Freshman (8-1) def. Dallas South Oak Cliff Freshman (8-1)
Scots trailed 40-21 at halftime. No doubt the best sub-varsity game I’ve ever watched. That was genuinely a ton of fun to attend. Both communities showed up.
Watching both sides have to adjust to certain strengths of their opponent on the fly was awesome. Iron sharpens iron. Every player on the field tonight got better and gained invaluable experience. Let’s find a way to run that thing back ↩️

For the first time in program history, Highland Park Basketball enters the season ranked #1 in the state by both GASO & TABC.
An honor earned. A standard to uphold. And a whole season still in front of us.
Time to go to work. 🏀

QB1❗️
.@ScotsRecruiting QB @BuckRandall6 is the first sophomore to start at quarterback for the Scots since Matthew Stafford in 2004. Now a senior, he's surpassed Stafford as Highland Park's all-time passing leader with over 9,000 career yards. Buck is a deadly accurate passer who accumulated 51 TDs last season and is looking to lead the Scots to a deep playoff run this year. Randall will travel about 1.5 miles down the road to play his college ball at @SMUFB and is this week's @ParkerUniv MVP.

Against Argyle last week, good from 43,40,and 33 on the night. Executed two perfect onside kicks. Kickoffs with hang time to the 1 yard line or in the endzone for touchbacks. Let’s go! @OberkromKicking

Highland Park 2029 WR Beckett Lawrence could be the next special slot receiver for a Scots program that has produced some great ones in the Randy Allen era of offense.
Lawrence has compiled 15 receptions for 278 yards and 4 TD through three games. Has proven he can make difficult plays over the middle while also just showing a natural feel for route running. Ran an 11.4 100M as a freshman last year. #txhsfb
Great week last week for the Scots Freshmen! Linebacker dinner on Wednesday night and two big wins on Thursday night. The future is NOW for this group!
