The MaxPreps formula is very complicated. In my opinion, ALA should be ranked higher because they beat some ranked teams. They are one of the hottest teams in 3A now. Unfortunately, we will never understand why MaxPreps doesn't rank ALA higher.
Tempe sits at No. 29. If they defeat MDN, they'll likely make the biggest jump and advance to the 4A playoffs. But MaxPreps only determines which number they would jump to if they win. As I said, the formula is very complicated.
This week is the finale week of the regular season for the 3A, 4A, and 5A teams. The 6A teams have two games left, while the 1A and 2A playoffs are underway. I will have two coverages involving “Must-win” scenarios.
For Thursday’s coverage, I will stop by Tempe as the No. 29 Buffaloes take on No. 18 Marcos de Niza. The winner of this game clinches a region title but is not guaranteed a playoff spot. If Tempe wins, they’ll most likely get into the 4A playoffs, but MDN would already qualify with a win. This matchup has high stakes, and I am excited for this intriguing coverage!
For Friday’s coverage, I am assigned to cover ALA-Ironwood’s football game as the Warriors visit No. 6 Valley Christian. ALA is ranked No. 16, and the top 16 qualify for the 3A playoffs. However, this is a must-win game for the Warriors. If they win, they’re in. If they lose, they'll need help from other 3A teams and will have to hope to stay in the playoffs.
Nothing better than having alum that are playing at the next level, come back! Thank Gage Barrett for stopping by to tell the team how proud you are to be a Warrior! #FAMILY #JUST #WarriorsNextLevel

Can anyone explain this to me?
Beat 8,9,14
Higher SOS than 10,11,12,13,15
Lost to 1,4,5,7
Better/same record as 8,9,10,13,14
Still have to play 6
Is it quality wins?
Is it SOS?
Is it no bad loses?
What's the formula?
Smart move!!!
Whoever lands Bryce is getting special player and person! Not mad at seeing him next to former teammate @GageBarrett56
