D3 schools handed out more academic money than most Power 4 programs gave in athletic scholarships last year. Some guys walked away with a better deal and more playing time. Division is not the offer. The opportunity is.

“…transcendent impact on sport and society…” 💯! This era of Spartan Football is historic in so many ways. Everything that is good about college football-and college athletics, in general-has green fingerprints all over it.
Defined by their championship performances on the field and their transcendent impact on sport and society off the field, the 1965 and 1966 Michigan State Football teams will be immortalized outside of Spartan Stadium with an art installation.
The announcement comes in the 60th anniversary season of the 1966 season, just days before Michigan State and Notre Dame meet 60 years after the Game of the Century.
The project is scheduled to be dedicated in conjunction with the MSU-Notre Dame football game next fall in East Lansing.
Coach Mannie is one of my favorite people on this earth. That man didn’t care if you were a 5 star or a little walk on , like myself. He coached my ass off everyday and made me a better player and person. I will be forever grateful for the effort he put into me.

We rewind to 2023, when Forest Hills Central defeated Mason 27-10 in the Division 3 Football State Final at Ford Field. The victory secured the first football state championship in school history for the Rangers.

FHC Varsity Football spent the afternoon helping AYA Youth Collective as they start prepping for their new drop in center. AYA supports youth aged 14-24 experiencing housing insecurity in the Grand Rapids area and provides transitional housing with mentorship.

The Rangers are now one win away from a state championship and will face Detroit Country Day on Saturday at Parker Middle School in Howell.
After the game, we caught up with Henry McNamara, who summed up the Rangers' season turnaround perfectly: "The turnaround to the season was like BBQ Chicken." 🍗🔥
