Blades Brown has his PGA Tour card locked up for 2027, and he’s got a few starts coming up to close the year, too. The 19-year-old had a really unique answer Sunday when asked about his love for the game. “I want to figure this game out so much. What's crazy to me about golf is every single time you play in an event, I feel like I learn something new. Like this week for me was short game. I feel like I just need to dial in around the greens. I probably lost around eight shots short game wise this week, which eight shots goes a long way. I'm just so encouraged with yeah, I mean, does it kind of hurt to finish bogey, double bogey, par? A little bit, but there are a lot worse things in life, and I'm just going to keep my head high and keep working on things I can.” Here’s his entire interview from Sunday:

Not often you see the high school team @siegelmbb standing and cheering on the middle school team @SiegelMiddle with the coaching staff watching on… Culture starts somewhere and @SiegelAthletics it starts with @CoachLynus

Davis Shore dealt with injuries throughout college and never thought he would be able to play the game he loved professionally. Yesterday, he fulfilled his dreams and earned a spot at the game’s highest level and will be on the PGA Tour in 2027.

“Going pro at 17, you’re doing a man’s job when you’re still kind of a child. So he’s done a good job of navigating what he needs.” Blades Brown bet on himself by turning pro out of high school … and he cashed that bet with a @PGATour card.

Florida State is more than $430M in debt, complicating a potential $68M payout to part with football coach Mike Norvell and his staff. Most of the debt is facility-related, making it difficult for FSU to take on more debt. Via @espn | ow.ly/gofq50ZWUKP

We broke ground on the Loren Roberts Family Clubhouse and Learning Center at The Links at Audubon. This is bigger than golf. It's about access, a place for our kids to grow, and building a city we're proud to call home. Thank you @TNGolfFnd @FirstTeeMemphis @MEM_Parks @FedEx

It will never not drive me insane that speed and strength - athletic qualities that ABSOLUTELY can be developed - are constantly under-indexed for in youth baseball, when their necessity for competitiveness is abundantly clear.
