As new football programs pop up, you’ll hear a lot of:
• “We’re a college”
• “We’re accredited”
⚠️ Pause. Check. Verify.
If a program requires you to enroll full-time in college, that uses eligibility. So if you’re using eligibility, the accreditation MUST matter.
Here’s the issue families are running into:
Some programs claim “college” status using:
• Religious / Bible college accreditation
• Technical or vocational accreditation
• National accreditations created for non-athletic education
These accreditations were built to serve:
✔️ Ministry education
✔️ Workforce or vocational training
They were not built for:
❌ Broad academic credit transfer
❌ Athletic progression
❌ College football recruiting pipelines
🏈 Why this is a serious problem
When athletes enroll full-time at these schools:
• Eligibility is used
• Credits often do not transfer
• Athletes must start over academically
• Recruiting momentum is lost
Playing football does not equal progress if the credits don’t move with you.
👉🏼 Before you commit, ask:
1️⃣ What accreditation does the school hold?
2️⃣ Is it regionally accredited?
3️⃣ Where have credits successfully transferred?
If they can’t show proof, don’t risk your future!!!

I am strict with protecting the integrity of @BonnFootball and post grad - that’s why we are #1 and in season 5!
Last year from this time to season kick offs in early Aug we saw 17 ( YES SEVENTEEN! that I know of!) post grad/collegiate prep
programs that had been recruiting kids never actually open and another FIVE programs do a game or two and fold; some closing and leaving students stranded and homeless!
As we see pop up programs and new “conferences” we see strict with who we allow on our schedule … @NCPAA_Football teams are mentored and vetted. Doing what’s best for students is top priority!

As we continue to receive game requests, and several new “conferences” popping up, we wanted to clarify:
BFA only competes against:
• Post-Grad / Collegiate Academies within the National Collegiate Prep Athletic Association (NCPAA) @NCPAA_Football
• College football programs
This is not preference, it is policy.
Our student-athletes are post-grads. They are protected by eligibility standards, academic requirements, roster regulations, and compliance oversight designed specifically for this level of football.
We do not schedule outside of that structure.
As post-grad football continues to evolve, legitimacy matters.
Player protection matters.
Structure matters.
👉 Membership is open for programs seeking alignment with the #1 post-grad/collegiate prep association, rooted in doing what’s best for student-athletes and mentoring teams to long-term success,on and off the field.
