Content creators & horror fans, make yourself known! Especially if you like religious horror and games like P.T. and Visage. 💀👹
I'm looking for new creators to send early keys to for my upcoming horror game - inspired by my own fears of turning off the lights at night!💡😱

Imagine P.T. meets Visage, but the house changes every time you flip a light switch! Flick is a psychological horror inspired by childhood fears.
• Rooms shift with every light switch
• Solve puzzles using light and darkness
• Uncover disturbing secrets
• Something sinister lurks in the shadows
Incredible review!! Appreciate the kind words, brother! 🙏💀🙏
Remember that feeling of running to the next room after flicking off a light switch in hopes of beating the darkness? Or before the monsters hidden within it can grab you? That feeling has been turned into a video game by InqDrop Studios (@colorthebooks), and that feeling is captured rather well.
Flick starts you off in a dark room. So you've already lost that race. But there's a light switch right above you. Flicking it on illuminates the room. But it doesnt quite look how you thought it did while it was dark. It's full of furniture that you're sure wasn't there before. Flick the light again. The room changes. Now it's empty except for a small desk with a child's drawing. Do you dare flick it again? What else may change? What is that figure in the darkness? Just a trick of the mind, or something sinister waiting for you to step out of the light?
This game grabs hold of those primal, childhood fears and takes you for a ride. The demo is short but it certainly leaves an impression. The entity stalking you from the dark is silent and terrifying, only giving you glimpses of it's withered form. The fear of the unknown quickly closes in.
It uses light and dark for puzzle solving, which gives way to all sorts of uniqe puzzles. Searching for clues involves turning the lights off and on to see what changes in the room and collecting the pieces while you can. It's a bit easy to start feeling a little overwhelmed with all the changes. But the rooms start to cycles after a few tries, giving you a bit of structure to grasp onto. But then that cycle changes after you find a clue and that anxiety starts over.
This demo shows a ton of promise. The Dev boasts 10 years of AAA game dev experience, and it certainly shows in this short piece. I look forward to seeing how the rest of the game plays out. See the comments for a link to my playthrough of it.

I'm making a horror game about my own crippling fear of the dark.
Every time I test a puzzle or a jumpscare, I have to hold my breath.

If you're a content creator or follow Plura Ingenia: Patient 16, please read this!
Plans have changed for the game, and I'll be taking the demo down soon. After November 10, 2026, the demo will no longer be playable.
So, if you've been wanting to try it out, now is the time!
Moving forward, Plura Ingenia: Patient 16 will be released episodically throughout 2027, with Episode 1 planned for release in late 2026.
The first episode will essentially be a small extension of the current demo with some changes in pacing. Your save data will carry over between episodes, allowing your choices and unlocked personality traits to add more variety to each new release.
Thank you for following the project and supporting its development!

FLICK/@ColorTheBooks : Congratulations. Here's a fucking heart attack.
I think I legitimately pissed myself. 💀
Had a few folks ask how Next Fest went for Flick.
Pretty decent? Nothing amazing, but it was my first Next Fest so I wasn't exactly sure what I was doing!
For a solo dev just doing my thing in my lane, I'm feeling optimistic! Appreciate everyone's support on this journey!
Imagine if P. T. and Visage had a malformed, religious-traumatized baby...in a house that changes shape when you turn on the lights. 💡 💀
That's the solo dev horror game I've been working on for the past several months. And it's almost ready to release to you... 😈 👹
It puts the FEAR in ATMOSFEAR
