"There are standards here. There is a way that we play."
When the coach holds players accountable, it’s a rule.
When players hold each other accountable, it’s the standard.

A winner embraces their role and does whatever it takes to help their team be successful.

Don’t confuse your role with your value.
Championship players don’t count minutes; they make their minutes count.
A good teammate will never be defined by their role.
A good teammate will be defined by their willingness to excel in that role.

"Did you come here to develop?
Everybody's announcing what they're doing.
I'm announcing that I'm going in the portal.
I'm announcing that I'm re-signing.
How about you announce that you're getting better and you're going to practice...?"

“It is truly mindset. The guys that really believe that the little things add up to the big things. Nothing is too small. Everything matters. Everything matters. Those are what separates from good to great and from great to elite. It’s not a secret but it’s not easy,” Dan Campbell

Every player on the planet needs to hear this — over and over again:
Remove all the “stuff” — results, expectations, distractions — and just compete.
Compete. Compete. Compete.
At the end of the day, it all comes down to becoming the ultimate competitor. Breathe. Center your thoughts. Lay it on the line and compete.

Being a great teammate means you are just as happy about your teammate's success as you are your own success. Great teams have great teammates.

Mental toughness is not the absence of doubt. It is the ability to recover from doubt quickly. 🎾
Fear, worry, and anxiety are part of being human. Even @DjokerNole and all of the best performers in the world experience them.
The difference is not that they avoid negative thoughts, but that they have trained themselves to return to the mindset that serves them and their mission.
Mental toughness is a skill. Like any skill, it improves with repetition.
You cannot control which thoughts enter your mind, but you can train how quickly you return to what matters.
The goal is not to never get knocked off course.
The goal is to shorten the time it takes to get back on track.

"Great players come ready to play with the right approach every day.
The wins are a byproduct of the foundation of what your program is about."
Wins don’t come first.
Discipline does.
Accountability does.
Consistency does.
Winning is just the result of great habits.
