San Francisco 49ers + Injuries
Just in 2026:
- George Kittle - Achilles in 2025 playoffs
- Ricky Pearsall (WR): Season-ending knee/PCL surgery (training camp).
- Alfred Collins (DT): Season-ending knee injury (pre-opener).
- Jake Tonges (TE): Season-ending knee/MCL.
- De’Zhaun Stribling (WR): Ankle surgery after Week 1; ~8–10 weeks.
- C.J. West (DT): Placed on IR (knee, bone chips; surgery).
- Christian Kirk (WR): Calf (IR since training camp)
- Demarcus Robinson (WR): High-ankle sprain (Week 2). Non-contact
- Mike Evans (WR): has been banged up with multiple injuries
- James Thompson Jr. (DT): High-ankle sprain (Week 2).
- Romello Height (DE): Hand (surgery)
Now Nick Bosa (DE) suffers a significant calf strain that will likely land him on IR.
Is it time to acknowledge the obvious that the SUBSTATION is at least playing a role?
Or should we just continue to claim all these injuries are ‘random,’ that we are just conspiracy theorists and continue to keep our heads buried in the sand?

Andrew Luck was limited at practice today with a shoulder injury.
The Colts say the move was precautionary and Luck is still expected to start Week 1 against Detroit.
Luck missed nine games last season.
What did you think about Sonny styles? I know you weren't high on him it is performance last night worry you at all?

Really smart addition by the Commanders to add Stefon Diggs.
They now have a $30M man at No. 1.
A reigning 1,000 yard guy at No. 2.
Tons of competition for WR No. 3
(Including a top-75 pick from the spring and a former 1st rounder balling out at camp)
Throw in a weapon of a TE and I'd say Jayden Daniels has a decent collection of weapons around him.

The latest Commanders Log gave us a great look into the Commanders war room and the process to make the decision into drafting @sonnystyles_.
Really nice to see the owner, Josh Harris, have full faith in Adam Peters and let him make this franchise-altering decision. Wasn't long ago we had an owner that loved playing GM.
Full episode will be linked in the comments.

This is a BIG wow
Rams are drafting QB Ty Simpson with the 13th pick. Sean McVay actually told Matthew Stafford today of their decision and made it clear it’s for whenever Stafford decides to move on @nflonfox

The Commanders are signing CB Akhello Witherspoon per @MikeGarafolo. Washington needed more CB depth -- and could use more. Witherspoon reunites with Washington GM Adam Peters, who was with the 49ers when they drafted him in the 3rd round in 2017.

So according to Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk was with the team doing his rehab like he was supposed to until that big article dropped in October about the 49ers planning to part ways with him. Then, Aiyuk decided to not be around the team anymore.

𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: Jaguars superstar LB Devin Lloyd will likely hit free agency this offseason after playing his way out of the Jaguars’ price range, says @ESPNdirocco
“Linebacker Devin Lloyd is also a free agent, but the estimated franchise tag of $27.5 million is too high and he'll demand a big contract in FA, so the Jaguars are likely out on him.”
