FC Augsburg believes it's quite terrible to have 17 other Bundesliga clubs sitting on a bunch of the league's limited supply of points.

This playcall isn't bad. Mustapha just reads it like a book.
Mustapha was the best 49er player for a majority of the second half

Unpopular take: I think the Commanders roster is good enough to win almost every week. Way better than the record and it gets credit for. WR /LB rooms are examples.
Coaching doesn’t elevate them. They play hard for DQ because they like him but they rarely win coaching battle.

WHY WOULD DAN QUINN NOT CALL TIMEOUT HERE
Am I crazy? Giants have to snap it at their own one yard line. You have a chance for a safety if you time it right

CB Trey Amos, DE Deatrich Wise Jr. and RB Jeremy McNichols have all returned to practice and their 21-day windows have been opened

#Commanders LB Leo Chenal, who was taken off the field with a scary-looking injury on Sunday, will undergo season-ending surgery this morning for a fracture in his neck, per sources.
Most importantly, Chenal has feeling in all his extremities, and the expectation is that he’ll make a full recovery. 🙏

Pressures allowed from the Commanders’ OL today:
• Brandon Coleman: 6
• Nick Allegretti: 6
• Lucas Patrick: 3
• Chris Paul: 1
Josh Conerly at RT, however, shutout Seattle in 38 pass pro snaps.

Meanwhile, 6'4, 244lbs Anthony Richardson is injured about 40% of the times he's tackled.
Intuitively, you always assume slight guys are frail, but you tend to ignore the giant guys who are also made of sugar glass.
Some dudes are just fragile, regardless of size.
Also, some injuries just happen

Numbers strongly support Quinn’s decision to try for the TD. WSH needed only ~3% chance of scoring for the shot to be better than a FG.
Why? Historically, being down 4 vs. 7 at half barely changed win rate (26% vs. 25%). A TD and tie: 49%.
Terrible outcome. Sound decision.

Update from the same person who sent me this, QB that was injured is still in the hospital and likely looking at surgery on the leg that was twisted up.
Disgusting behavior and this kid needs suspended if not kicked off the team entirely. @DraftDiamonds, you see this?

I’ll echo this for the Commanders, Dan Quinn should play all starters tonight including Jayden Daniels
John Harbaugh should play Jaxson Dart and his starters tonight in prime time vs the Jets. They need this dress rehearsal for their all-important opener under the lights against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1 nydailynews.com/2026/08/27/g…

Practice just wrapped. Good work on both sides. I’d say both defenses were pretty good. Ravens defense gave Washington problems all day, mainly due to the o line getting dominated. Ravens offense was up and down but had a few splash plays. Video coming soon…
