Loose skin or “Ozempic Face” was a real concern for me when I decided I was going to take on the task of losing 100+ pounds. I am currently down 75lbs and my skin has never looked better. I give credit to GHK-Cu. Once i started GLPs and weight started coming off pretty quick I looked for ways to prevent/minimize loose skin. I wanted something a little more promising than drink water and use a good lotion, to me that sounded like information for someone wanting to lose 15lbs. I actually didn’t even own a bottle of lotion when this research began. 😂 I stumbled upon GHK-Cu. Had never heard of it, X and Reddit were full of love for it though. I started pinning it and nothing happened. Everyone said to wait 12 weeks, I did. I pinned it every night and nothing happened. I kept pinning and right around the 4th month I noticed my skin was glowy, not just the tan parts it was everywhere. I noticed some other things like less greys in my head and my beard had gotten darker and filled in a little better but that’s a conversation for another post. My skin looked like someone’s who had actually tried to take care of it and the only thing that I changed was adding the GHK. Once I saw this progress I added a GHK face serum and a Tallow, this is where the real magic happened for me. Small wrinkles in my face basically disappeared, the tone evened out, it just made it look healthier. Right around this time is when people that I know started asking me what I was using for my skin (I don’t just tell anyone I use peptides so most of em were told I bought a bottle of CeraVe😂). So here I am 75lbs down, ZERO LOOSE SKIN, and happy as can be about it. I spend maybe 3 minutes a day on my skin and It has been some of the best time invested throughout this whole journey. I can’t credit it all to GHK, age and genetics play a part. But in my current state I am very happy with my skin. Has anyone had any success with preventing loose skin with major weight loss?

I’ve lost 75lbs taking GLPs, here are some things no one told me before starting: Half of the people who find out will 100% act like you’re injecting poison into your body and will feel the need to tell you so. I pin it at night, no post injection side effects this way. I eat light on pin day, eating heavier meals would lead to some serious bloating/gas for me. Water, water, water. GLPs make you feel like you’re not thirsty, you have to keep up your hydration basically by a clock or making sure you drink a certain amount throughout the day. Digestive enzymes might of saved my marriage and some friendships😂. When I got to my second titration of my GLP I had the worst sulphur burps, I tried everything I knew that could help. I eventually found an old Reddit thread with someone saying digestive enzymes helped them. Chewed my first one up and an hour later they were gone, they’ve been a real game changer. I began splitting my dose in half throughout the week and it makes the dose go further. I can go longer without titrating up. I’ve learned to stop eating as soon as a begin to feel full, this basically solves most stomach issues. I’ve learned to eat my protein first on my plate. It’s now impossible to finish every plate I eat. It’s actually kinda crazy to think that was my mindset for so long. GLPs are an actual cheat code to a calorie deficit. I’ve had success with deficit diets before, they just sucked the entire time. Those days are long gone. 🐎

KPV is my #2 peptide, only GLPs are superior. I wasn’t sure if things were improving due to weight loss/better health or what, but when I stopped the KPV it became very apparent what it was helping me with. Seasonal allergies came back with a vengeance. TMJ that had basically disappeared started acting up again. Joint and soft tissue pain showed up in places it hadn’t in a while. Random headaches started back up before any of the other things. Basically, when the KPV stopped, the allergy medicine and anti inflammatories had to start. KPV has earned its spot in my long term stack. I can raw dog a lot of things. Inflammation is not one of them. 🐎
