The Star Wars prequels are back in the public consciousness lately, so I wanted to talk about how much Palpatine’s rise to power is one of the greatest villain arcs of all time.
When it comes to the prequels, so many people naturally focus on Anakin’s journey towards the Dark Side, the flaws of the Jedi Order, or the general controversy of how different generations either love or hate the trilogy. But I really think a vastly overlooked topic is the plot surrounding the disintegration of the Galactic Republic and Palpatine’s eventual triumph at the end of Revenge of the Sith.
This is a man who manufactures crisis after crisis to first depose the previous Supreme Chancellor, wins a sympathy vote to succeed him, orchestrates a civil war where he’s secretly in control of both sides, and ultimately uses the conflict to wipe out his political rivals, overthrow the political order they had created thousands of years earlier, and convert the very Galactic Republic that the Jedi had once defended against the Sith into a Galactic Empire ruled by the Sith themselves.
It’s genius writing, overlooked by a combination of fandom controversies regarding the films themselves and the fact that Anakin, Obi Wan, and Padme usually overshadow Palpatine in the prequels.
The fact that the Jedi spent millennia fighting the Sith on the battlefield, only to allow them to secretly hijack their own Republic and then weaponize it against them when Order 66 comes down proves that the Sith are the true political realists of the galaxy, while the Jedi are the metaphysical liberals attempting to abolish politics itself.
But politics can’t ever be abolished.
The tragedy of the prequels is that the Jedi essentially promise a galaxy without conflict, and by the time conflict inevitably reappears after a postwar consensus that has lasted a thousand years, they’ve lost the ability to deal with it.

We're rapidly reaching the point in this country where making an honest living is completely pointless. The social contract is dead. The middle class is gone. The American Dream is dead.
Why bother working when some 76 IQ indian can just scam the taxpayer for millions with his cousin rajesh, buy a massive mansion with the stolen money, drive a 200k SUV and nothing ever happens to them.
Even if they get caught, it's just a free flight back to india where generational wealth is waiting for them because they were siphoning millions out of our pockets in remittances. Meanwhile if you tried the same thing you would go to prison for the next 20 years.
People worked 80 hour weeks to build a life for themselves and their family just to be replaced by an H-1B and have their career completely derailed forever. Now they work 3 dead end jobs and are stocking shelves at 5am just for some retarded african to fuck with them so they can sell gambling ads. Which btw is also paying them 10X more than the guy making the honest living.
This country is broken. The incentives are fucked, justice is nowhere to be found and unless we close the border and remigrate tens of millions our country is never coming back.

European hiring rules are genuinely insane.
For example - if you own a company in the Netherlands and one of your employees gets sick, you are required to pay at least 70% of their wages for up to 2 years.
If they can't go back to work after 2 years and you haven't done enough for their reintegration, you pay their wages for 1 more year. And you can't fire them until after that extra year!

Finally, Marxist globalist traitor James White starts reciting Eli’s talking points regarding ICE and the DHS, as if they must be lying in this case, there must be some mistake regarding Samuel Sey. This narrative has already started falling apart, based on Sey’s past statements about his immigration process. But just think about it, who is Samuel Sey to the U.S. government? He’s just one of millions of visa overstays. The DHS doesn’t care that he’s a Christian blogger with a modest following. Why would it seek to make an example out of him? Obviously, it wouldn’t.
The Trump Administration is simply doing what people elected it to do. James White used to be one of those people, but no longer.
What should a politician do if he's converted by the preaching of the gospel?
Evangelicals want a church body made up of mouths, where mouths are the most honored and they ask hands and eyes why they are not mouths.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is running one of the largest anti-left-wing surveillance operations in U.S. history, according to WIRED.
Attorneys for 15 Minnesota residents facing federal conspiracy charges have obtained records showing HSI conducted sweeping spying on left-wing activists under operations including Project Whipple Shield and Operation Puppet Master, authorized by National Security Presidential Memorandum 7. President Donald Trump signed the memorandum in September 2025, following the assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.
The effort, which experts compare to COINTELPRO, involved roughly 120 HSI agents, including 11 undercovers, who infiltrated activist groups, churches, martial arts trainings, marches, and Signal chats. Agents used Reaper drones and PATRIOT Act-era tools, photographed vehicles, and monitored conferences in other cities. Prosecutors claim the defendants organized to impede ICE during Operation Metro Surge; defense attorneys say the charges criminalize lawful protest.
Newly disclosed DHS records detail undercover agents posing as community members. One, using the Signal username “peanutbutterjelly,” attended “ICE watch” and legal observer trainings, screenshot protest plans, offered help with fundraising and flyers, and reported no threats to public safety.
Other agents photographed demonstrators, trailed individuals to coffee shops and churches, and attended meetings of groups like the Sunrise Movement and the Party for Socialism and Liberation, where discussions focused on peaceful protest. A DHS spokesperson declined to comment on specific methods.

I left a church earlier this year. One of my issues was that leadership couldn't get its priorities straight.
They partnered with a ministry in Africa while in their third year of meeting in a school with no building search committee and volunteers set up and tore down weekly.
My uncle did a mission trip to Africa to teach a village how to raise pigs for food.
They flew in with a bunch of pigs, built pens for them, Food and water troughs, and taught them how to breed them so they could always have meat. Two weeks of work and teaching.
They went back a year later to check on the village. They had thrown a giant party the night after my uncle left, slaughtered and ate all the pigs, sold the feeders and fencing, and were really pissed off that the mission didn't bring them more pigs.
