Today is #DisabilityPayGap day. It’s the day in 2022 when the average Disabled worker stops getting paid for the rest of the year, compared to the average non-disabled worker.
This means that that Disabled workers will work 54 days without pay this year. 🗓️

With the government’s recent announcement on social care, never has a co-operative alternative that empowers disabled people and provides them with appropriate support been more needed.
As part of the Co-op Party 2021 Conference, our Network event will discuss this issue and hear from members about where the party and the co-op movement should go next.
We want to hear your views and experiences on social care, and how the Network should respond to recent Co-op Party policy announcements.
