I’ve held off on saying this for a while, but I think it needs to be said 🤷♂️
Devs, first: I genuinely appreciate how much you’ve opened up to the community this year. It’s been great, and I want it to continue. But that's exactly why Scyan being one of the forefronts of this interaction has frustrated me and others.
Even spanning back to when Megan (Epic writer) was active on twitter, Scyan oddly got the majority of her replies back to people, which was frustrating as it was because this was in close proximity to the drama already involving him, and others never got the same chance to talk with her or get questions answered. After years, Epic clearly had some sort of internal memo to have devs begin interacting with the community again, which has been mostly great, but for some super odd reason I still cannot wrap my head around, Scyan has been like one of the main accounts apart of this community interaction. He's had around 40+ replies from devs since March, he's apparently frequently private messaging w/ said devs, and as everybody has already pointed out, he's continuously tagged and is brought up in threads he isn’t even part of. MANY have gone in replies of dev's responses to Scyan and outlined SPECIFICALLY why choosing to interact with him continuously is not only problematic, but incredibly hurtful to the rest of the community by ignoring all of these replies time and time again. I'm not going to crack open that can of worms because anybody who cares enough about this tweet already knows what screenshots and statements im referring to. The point is, it was understandable originally because why should we expect people at Epic to know all about the specific drama in the community? For all we know, they have no idea and are just talking to people freely which is completely understandable. That was until somebody (I forgot who, Ted or Chris or someone else) mentioned they all have always watched the comm closely from afar since they couldn't interact, but now they have the chance to so they're enjoying talking to all of us. So...if they've been watching all of this time, and surely seen the constant replies nowadays, why are we ignoring all of it to favor a single individual? This isn't about a petty grudge one person has, it's a slew of screenshots, posts, hurtful and/or weird statements, and more that have been said over the span of years impacting many individuals that people have been trying to show devs during these interactions. But again, they're ignored.
I really just do not understand, and i wish i could, because if there was a legitimate reason i wouldn't be tweeting this right now. But then I log onto twitter after some days and there’s the talk about the token. I’m not going to accuse anyone of rigging anything. Scyan said it was timing, and Epic says the odds are equal for everyone. But the public back-and-forth around it, and then crediting Chris for it, you have to admit doesn't look good. We really can’t be surprised the community jumped to that conclusion. And thats exactly what pushed me to make this tweet after tossing it around in my head for awhile now.
I really do not like to put my nose in twitter drama (i deleted it from my phone like 3 weeks ago and havent looked back) but this is something thats personally bothered me since it began happening awhile ago, and its felt discouraging watching everyone's completely valid replies be ignored, regarding Scyan's history. No one is asking you guys to ignore him or to publicly address any of the drama. We’re asking for the favoritism to stop being so obvious, and for the people who’ve raised this over and over to feel like they’ve been heard. I truly feel thats just basic respect for those who've been here through everything after all this time.
Love yall. Dont go harassing any specific individuals over this, this is simply me trying to say something out loud that ive been wanting to for some time. Whatever backlash comes from it, I’ll own it. Thanks for reading, and stay healthy out there on that token search lol.
I did care about the og pass in the hopes we would get vendetta and we didn't. Epic being epic made a stupid decision and swapped vendetta for the fucking monster which wasn't even a skin in chapter 1
If you pray to untrans me or anyone else, you can absolutely fuck right off. Fix your god damn hearts

Okay, let’s imagine someone who plays 24/7, sacrifices sleep, and is genuinely damaging their mental health just to find the Pirate Shop Token. The season ends, and they still haven’t managed to find it. Don’t you think they deserve to receive it through an alternative method at the very least? @EpicTofuChris
I understand that playing this much is a personal choice, but seeing people, including KIDS, skipping school, neglecting work, and sacrificing their daily responsibilities just to hunt for this token is genuinely concerning.
At this point, considering how many players have gotten it, maybe it’s time to simply reward everyone with the token or at the final days of the season.
I’ve opened around 20,000 chests so far (THIS IS NOT OK), and I still haven’t received either the skin or the token. I’ve been playing for at least 12–18 hours a day since the beginning of the season. I know this isn’t healthy, but shouldn’t we also question why the game has become so addictive in the first place?
Battle Royale has turned into nothing but Chest Hunt Royale. Winning doesn’t even feel rewarding anymore because the entire experience revolves around hunting for chests. Victories have become tasteless. 🫠

Justin Briner was right to say that idc, it was three words to people who usually say and support far FAR worse rhetoric towards minorities
I beg this happens
STUDIO MAPPA is reportedly in talks to acquire the rights to ‘TOKYO GHOUL’, with plans to completely reboot the franchise from the ground up.
The project would reportedly scrap all non-canon elements from previous seasons, giving the series a full, uncensored adaptation faithful to Sui Ishida’s original dark fantasy manga.

Like I personally wouldn’t say anything, but like MAGA has been saying slurs for god knows how long.
All things considered the original comment was pretty tame considering what I have seen in terms of politics.

Hello @FTC, Epic Games added a new "Pirate Token" which doesn't have any public odds of getting it, which creates anti-consumer field/FOMO. The game is majorly played by children, they can do anything if they wouldn't get it, so take action against Epic Games please
