We had the privilege of having Abdullah M. Abu Shawesh, Palestinian Ambassador to India in our parliamentary office this afternoon. Comrade Rajiv Dimri, General Secretary of AICCCTU, Comrade Arun from our international department and Comrade Prasenjeet, General Secretary of AISA were also present during our interaction. Ambassador Shawesh thanked the progressive people of India for their consistent solidarity with Palestine and the Palestinian people.
The question of stopping the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and liberating Palestine from the cruel occupation of Israel remains the biggest challenge before peace-loving, freedom-loving people all over the world. Traditionally, India's democratic public opinion and Indian foreign policy have been staunchly in support of the Palestinian cause. The pro-Israel stance of the Modi government has derailed and muted India's official position on Palestine in international fora, but the democratic opinion of India still remains committed to the Palestinian cause. Long live India-Palestine solidarity and friendship.

Stand with Jamia Students! Defend Campus Democracy!
CPI(ML) Liberation strongly condemns the Jamia Millia Islamia administration and police repression against students fighting for campus democracy and their rights, including the demand for students’ union elections.
Students have been on hunger strike to press for their demands. But instead of addressing their grievances, the administration has unleashed repression. Campus gates have been blockaded, the university shut down, and police and paramilitary forces deployed against students. Their sit-in site has been forcibly cleared, and several students have been assaulted and detained by the police.
The pattern is clear: the Modi-Shah regime fears a generation that refuses to be silenced. Every time young people raise their voices against injustice and demand their democratic rights, police and paramilitary forces are unleashed in an attempt to crush their protests.
The voices of students cannot be silenced through force and intimidation.
