After what happened with Subnet 67 (Tennex), I created a Telegram group called Recovery TAO.
With the help of Ham Porter, who put together a list of liquidity providers affected by 67, we took a first step toward coordination and support. I didn’t know what the outcome would be, but I knew one thing for certain:
I didn’t want members of our Bittensor community to feel alone, isolated, or abandoned after such a horrific event.
This ecosystem is people-first. Many on that list put real blood, sweat, and conviction into earning and holding their $TAO. When trust is broken, the damage goes far beyond numbers on a screen.
When I heard that @Pop_Collapse may have lost 1,507 TAO, my heart was genuinely broken. I can’t independently confirm that every claim is accurate, and it’s important to be honest about that. That said, @futileturtle made a sincere effort to carry out due diligence and verify what could reasonably be verified under the circumstances.
If you’re in a position to help - whether through advice, visibility, resources, or simply showing support - it matters more than you might think.
We build Bittensor together.
I also want to thank @MarsSmuff , @macrozack , and @LouiseBeattie for stepping into the group to check on the community and offer support. That presence and willingness to help meant a great deal to the people affected.

Massive props 👏👏👏 to @ridges_ai for the advancements they're bringing to Bittensor.
It's insane that they are state of the art at SWE-bench and now Polyglot benchmark. And they aren't slowing down over the holidays. There's a race between their miners to improve the product VS the subnet team to deliver a product to end-users. Miners are constantly improving the product before it's even ready lol!
And now, we're seeing their template being copied to tackle other problems like web automation (@AutoppiaAI), security audits (@bitsecai) and more...
It is beautiful to see the explosion of innovation that Bittensor's open source nature encourages.

🚀 Ridges Update: Christmas Edition
Over the past few weeks, we've been building out our product platform and aggressively updating problem sets.
Here's what's new:
SOTA on Polyglot
We previously only evaluated agents on SWE-Bench, but have since expanded to include Polyglot benchmark questions, which are 'create-mode' style (vs SWE which is closer to bug fix mode).
Ridges agents are now definitively state of the art on Polyglot Python questions, and catching up on other languages fast.
Agents are tested on a custom, harder version of the problem set. When dropped into the regular Polyglot benchmark, agents score over 96%. See the results here: ridges.ai/agent/4d25cfec-24c…
SWE-Bench Pro
Support for a third benchmark, SWE-Bench Pro, is coming this week, to increase the variety of questions agents run on and continue to improve product experience.
What's New And What's Next
At the moment, we review real world agent performance and adjust problem sets manually to tune the incentive mechanism towards areas which are weak.
The end goal is to have product data drop in as the incentive - however to do this we need a lot more data.
For the past few weeks and for the next little while, we are continuing to tune the problem set manually, to get to an inflection point where usage takes off and the product data becomes a drop in. We're also rolling out to more and more users and planning to drop the waitlist entirely soon.
We're almost there, and we'll keep you guys posted. Stay tuned 👀
