Quick little revisit.
Remember folks Evernode is not Codius.

Remember the time when @FlareNetworks told everyone to buy $XRP on exchanges for the airdrops then screwed the #XRPCommunity over with the airdrops.
They did a vote while telling the community that they would get more flare if they self custody.
Talk about moving a goal post.
π’@Coinbase has started to provide the January FLR airdrop to its customers. Let's welcome our new Flare community members and help them get up to speed on the network. flare.network/flare-101/

Some ppl thought Codius was dead π€£π€£π€·πΎββοΈ
Kinda hilarious seeing ppl who never talked about ILP, Codius or Coil now suddenly speaking on it like theyβve been following it all along π€£Pplβs actions are always telling. Especially when their original thinking was never about these things until suddenly they became relevant to the narrative.
That difference matters.
STEFAN THOMAS JUST SAID THE WORD EVERYONE FORGOT. CODIUS. π¨
Yesterday I told you he snuck onto the Swell stage.
Here's what he actually said.
Right at the end. Almost in passing: π£οΈ
"Codius comes next, by the way."
Most people missed it.
Here's why it matters.
2014. Stefan builds Codius at Ripple.
Apps that run anywhere, not stuck inside one blockchain.
2015. Ripple shelves it. Too early.
The problem was simple.
In his own words: π£οΈ
"we didn't have a neutral way to pay Codius hosts."
His fix became Interledger.
Money that moves the way information moves online.
Last night he showed the missing piece.
Dassie.
A payment network anyone can run.
Nodes find each other on their own.
No approvals.
No trusting strangers.
Payments done in 20 to 30 milliseconds.
Settled on the XRP Ledger.
Built for XRP and RLUSD.
So the payment rail Codius always needed finally exists.
And Codius is "next."
Why now?
He started Dassie in 2022.
Then a little over two weeks ago he picked it back up with AI.
"For me, it was an absolute game changer."
And a little ledger lore: β¬οΈ
In September 2014 a Ripple account sent 1 XRP payments with the memo
"thanks for participating in the Codius demo!"
One went to a name called "~stefan."
Still sitting on the XRP Ledger today.
It's test money for now.
He said so himself.
But his last slide said it best:
"We used to dream about this. Now it's real."

Extremely happy to have been able to show @MonicaLongSF our appreciation for what she and Ripple do for #XRP and the community.
