I stand with Cindy! No survivor of sexual abuse should ever be silenced by statutes of limitations, NDAs, bankruptcy proceedings, or the influence of political, religious, or other institutions. Survivors deserve to be heard. Without accountability, nothing will change.
“Protecting religious liberty is important. But protecting child rapists is not," Leach said. "Cindy Clemishire deserves her day in a Texas civil court."
What a tremendous blessing to be a part of Cindy’s legal team as she courageously fights for justice — not only for herself, but for other victims and survivors, all of whom deserve to have their day in Court.

We spent a beautiful day in DC advocating for the U.S House of Representatives to restore survivors’ voices across America after a unanimous U.S. Senate vote—because survivors of child sexual abuse and trafficking should never be silenced by NDAs. Once TREY’S Law passes the House, it’s on to the president’s desk!
We are incredibly proud to stand with the survivors and advocates who shared their stories at a press conference and roundtable yesterday, and applaud the many other survivors who have advocated for #TreysLaw in statehouses across the country. Now, this must be federal law as enacted in seven states to date. A victim’s freedom of speech should not depend on ZIP code—that’s why this needs to be federal law.
Links in bio for news coverage as we continue this momentum. Take action NOW and urge your House members to pass TREY’S Law with urgency so we can see #TruthSetFree nationwide during this Congress.

A man was caught in the act recording a young boy over a bathroom stall at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg and the teenagers who caught him handled it with more restraint than most adults could have managed - they confronted him, held him until mall security and police showed up, and made sure he was arrested on the spot.
According to the family who shared this, he is being described as a serial predator with videos already saved on his phone, which means this was very likely not his first time.
The fact that this happened in a public mall bathroom with other people around and he still felt bold enough to do it should terrify every parent reading this.
These boys exchanged numbers with the victim afterward just to make sure he had a copy of the video as proof, even while this man kept begging and saying he would delete it. That alone tells you everything about his intentions.
Talk to your kids, talk to your teens, and tell them exactly what these boys did right - they did not let him walk away, and they did not let him talk his way out of it.
Would you have handled this the same way?
This is what protecting each other actually looks like.
