@DCOPC welcomes the new Infrastructure Academy @ Spingarn. It was a decade ago during the Pepco-Exelon merger negotiations and settlement that @DCOPC first proposed an academy as part of the community benefits. Congratulations Mayor Bowser for making it a reality.
This week, we opened the new DC Infrastructure Academy at the historic Spingarn High School in Ward 5.
This new location, which features an automotive lab, new instructional and training rooms, a Pepco training yard, and flexible outdoor work areas, will allow us to expand opportunities.

Recovery efforts from last night’s storm are ongoing & we're coordinating w/ @DDOTDC, @DCDPW, @DCDGS, @311DCgov,
@PepcoConnect & others.
If you've previously reported a downed tree to 311, pls avoid making a 2nd report. District crews are working hard to address all reports!
Fallen trees can cause serious damage. Please stay safe and watch for power lines or hanging limbs.
If a tree falls entirely on private property and doesn’t impact a street, sidewalk or any public space, contact your insurance provider. If it impacts public space, report to 311
