Yellow/Blue Line: Upon Monday’s opening, Yellow Line trains will only operate between Huntington and Arlington Cemetery through the afternoon to address a track vehicle derailment and completion of weekend track work. Customers will need to use Blue Line trains to continue trip. Shuttles will also operate between Pentagon and L’Enfant Plaza to support the morning commute. Add additional travel time and check WMATA.com and MetroPulse for real-time updates.

While not technically a hurricane, the coastal impacts from a powerful Nor'easter will bring "battering waves" and erosion plus very strong winds perhaps gusting to 70-80 mph. Even without a storm name -- news media should take this "climate fueled cyclone" very seriously.
