Last month I hosted a panel at Momocon all about how Cartoon Shipping makes no sense, and now you can watch that panel! I promise that it’s exactly what you’re thinking it is.

We at American Dad! have so much gratitude and love for Patrick Stewart. He said how happy he was to do American Dad! because he was so rarely asked to do comedy, which is insane, as his ability to get the laugh was uncanny. Thank you, Sir, for sharing your joyful spirit, inspiring voice, and willingness to be ridiculous. You turned Avery Bullock, Deputy Director of the CIA, into someone the world loved and couldn't get enough of. We will miss you.

It’s funny that out of all his time working on the show, he only ever refused to say one joke (debatably 2), and was perfectly fine with everything else
Man was a legend, if anyone else said this it wouldn’t be nearly as funny

Patrick was one of those icons who we somehow all took for granted would always be with us.
I grew up as a fan, and was later gifted the privilege of becoming a colleague and friend, working with him for many years on “American Dad!”, “Family Guy”, and “Ted”. He was that rare actor who could take any bit of dialogue and elevate it, making a good writer sound great, and a great writer sound masterful. He was also as humble as they come. I remember exchanging emails with him a number of years ago when he was beginning day 1 of a new film. He commented to me that he always walked onto a new set feeling like the biggest novice there. My stunned reaction was the same as anyone’s would be. I said, “Patrick, if you feel that way, the rest of us are screwed.” We have lost a legendary actor today, and for many of us, a good friend. He will be deeply missed by the entire planet.

If it makes you feel any better his last role will probably be an American Dad episode
Here’s the entirety of “I Love Patrick Stewart”, a featurette on the American Dad Volume 7 DVD, where a bunch of the American Dad cast and crew gush about how much they love Patrick Stewart for 8 minutes
And you can really that he was loved, and he loved them back
Patrick Stewart always said that he loved whenever he got to play Bullock on American Dad, and given how beloved his character is, it’s not hard to see why
Rest easy, Sir Patrick 🥀
Rest in peace, Sir Patrick Stewart
You were the greatest deputy Director the CIA ever had 💜 🥀

Croc’s been in that plane so much as of late, hope he’s a certified pilot
Eric Bauza “carried the legacy of Looney Tunes with a devotion few bring to their work,” writes “Coyote vs. Acme” producer Chris DeFaria:
“He voiced Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Marvin the Martian, and so many more. And he never treated them as a job. To him, they were icons who deserved to be honored, protected, and kept alive for new generations. He championed these characters tirelessly in every room he walked into.”
