Nel frattempo i nostri consumi elettrici cresceranno, l’industria avrà bisogno di sempre più energia e i data center aumenteranno ulteriormente la domanda.
Se vogliamo restare una grande potenza industriale non possiamo pensare di rinunciare a una fonte stabile di energia come il nucleare nel mix energetico.
Adesso serve solo una cosa: smettere di avere paura e cominciare a fare.

A bright future for drought-resistant sunflowers 🌻🧬
The EU-funded HelEx project has developed new sunflower varieties with increased drought- and heat-tolerance, as well as pollinator-friendly and high-protein cultivars. These could help boost crop productivity and create new revenue streams for farmers.
To achieve this, it combined classical breeding approaches and cutting-edge gene editing. The project brought together 17 partner organisations encompassing researchers, plant breeders, biotech SMEs and farmers.
