*BRILLIANT*
The French made a short film about what could happen after all immigrants would follow the ‘_white, angry old man’s_’ advice to go back where they came from.*

Higher participation in education – including combined with work – is how low-NEET countries achieve lower NEET rates than the UK.
These differences in education participation between the UK and low-NEET countries are, in general, down to lower participation in vocational education in the UK.

ALT The chart shows the proportion of 18-24-year-olds who are participating in education or work measured relative to the UK for OECD countries, in 2024. Across ages 18-21, 36 per cent of Brits are in ‘general’ education, slightly higher than the 32 per cent in the Netherlands, Denmark, and Germany. But only 22 per cent in the UK in that age range are in vocational education, compared to 35 per cent in those comparator countries.

This is a threat of genocide and merits removal from office. The President’s mental faculties are collapsing and cannot be trusted.
To every individual in the President’s chain of command: You have a duty to refuse illegal orders. That includes carrying out this threat.

According to the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs:
About 45 million Africans live outside of Africa. Out of 1.4 billion people, that is roughly 3 percent of our population.
Around 85 to 90 million Asians live outside of Asia. Asia’s total population is about 4.7 billion. That means roughly 2 percent of Asians live outside their continent.
About 9 million citizens of the United States live outside their country out of 335 million people. That is roughly 5 percent of Americans.
And around 70 million Europeans born in Europe live outside of Europe out of 450 million. That is about 15 percent of their population.
So in raw numbers and in percentage, Americans and Europeans are the biggest migrant populations on this planet.
Yet somehow they keep pushing the story as if migration is a problem exported by the global south.

"Terrible things are happening outside. Poor helpless people are being dragged from their homes. Families are torn apart. Men, women, & children separated. Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared"

Happy #worldprematurityday to all babies born too soon- 1 in 8 in the UK. Yet, research into this is still underfunded and limited. Charities like @Blisscharity make a big difference to supporting families going through the emotional &financial challenges of having an early baby.

It’s #WorldPrematurityDay
Every year, 15 million babies are born too soon.
Too small. Too early. And far too vulnerable to life-threatening complications.
But with the right care, most preterm and low birth weight babies survive. They can go on to thrive and lead wonderful lives.
Let’s give every baby the best start in life – for healthier, #HopefulFutures bit.ly/43NzUH8

One of the most fascinating regions in the entire world.
Most people know it for Barcelona, but there are many places that make it unforgettable... 🧵

My lab’s 5-year NIH R01 grant, awarded to study gene therapy for hearing loss, was abruptly terminated. I want to share how this action has been incredibly harmful and disruptive, not just to my lab, but to the scientific process itself. 1/15
Absolutely horrendous watching #GazaDoctorsUnderAttack -but important to document and show the world-the killing of innocent children and torture of medics has nothing to do with defending a state. This clearly aims to wipe out an entire nation. If we don’t act now, when? #Gaza
“Gaza: doctors under attack” will finally be released this week after months of delay. It chronicles Israel’s targeting and destruction of Gaza’s hospitals and medics, 1,500 of whom have been killed.
See it on @zeteo_news internationally and Channel 4 in the UK from Wednesday.
