If we never Tweet one another again, may I leave you with this: consider orders in $/delivery time, not $/mile. It's a better metric. Thank you, and God Bless.
Drivers! Please be extra careful tonight, particularly near your deliveries. Lots of kids and parents crossing streets in dark clothing and in costumes that might obscure vision. Safety first!! π
Takeaways after another six months away:
* Probably 21/25 were no-contact. Speeds up deliveries.
* No need for me to text customers with arrival. The app provides all that info.
* Late into the night just head towards McDβs and JITB and wait.
So DoorDash is telling me I can earn the same rate over 40 hours as I do in 5 hours? FURTHERMORE, even βhoursβ is only defined by the assignment to completion time, not waiting. Blatantly dishonest.

Even the notorious haters in the Facebook groups seemed to like #DasherDirect...which is sayin' something!

My deep dive ππΌ
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO π΅
If you read the Facebook group posts about frustrating DD customers and then add Instacart-level complexity. OOF
As you Dash this weekend, remember this handy advice: Only accept $3 order if youβre already at the restaurant, and your customer is also at the restaurant.
Drive safely!
What is your #1 restaurant draft pick? (Not food, your favorite restaurant to pick up from).
