I come from a family of public servants who all believe that service is a calling. Our first network TV ad dropped today! I served for 20 years in the Air Force & I’m ready for my second service to protect freedom for all as your next Delegate in Virginia Beach-HD97. #AimHighVB

I spy @VSU_1882 in this video. I'm proud that our students get to see an alum trying to make Virginia a better place. If she can do it, you can do it.

I came to the General Assembly as a 32-year-old Black woman from the most democratic district in the state, operating in a body that was mostly white Republican men over 50. And yet I've been able to pass over 300 bills. #VADemDebate

Sen. Jennifer McClellan tonight: “Racial justice is about more than criminal justice reform, it is embedded in every system we have in government, and I did not need George Floyd’s murder or the Unite the Right Rally to teach me that.”

.@DaunHester made history as the first woman Treasurer of the City of Norfolk. She was instrumental in establishing the first “Norfolk Youth Council.” I’m proud that she is my soror, friend, former VA House colleague, and on #TeamMcClellan!
